If I recall, birds' bones tend to be hollow, or empty on the inside. That makes them lightweight. Maybe that is why Samus is so agile, and wears that armor since hollow bones break easily.

Nvm just found out all birds can lay unfertilized eggs. On another note, Samus can technically be part dinosaur if we wanna get into the taxonomic side of things.

If she were part dinosaur, that would be interesting, since her fighting Ridley would make a Dinosaur vs Dragon scenario, or part Dinosaur vs Dragon, for that matter.
