Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Maybe by that time, Smashboards will finally allow us to set Bowser Jr. as our Ultimate mains on our profiles without a glitched F-Zero symbol showing up instead.

Weird rant I know.

I mean, Nintendo was founded in the 1880s, but it also changed its entire business model and goods. One could argue that Nintendo could switch to VR, which seems to be the way of the future, or mobile games. On the other hand, in a future flooded market, maybe Nintendo's quality approach would be beaten by companies with more games that are worse.

Incineroar would be the april fools joke, it would just be the game artwork copied onto that background because it's already so ****ing realistic lol

Local platform fighting game fans argue that wanting over 80 characters in a modern fighting game is having realistic expectations, more at 11.

Ha! I’m always ready for Ridley and K. Rool. With Pac-Man (and Planty even though he’s not mentioned here) I kinda know what the expect when these things exist

I have been absent for quite a while but can someone explain me why everyone is now expecting Ryu Hayabusa, Steve and Doomguy? I am aware of the datamining that unveiled code names related to Piranha Plant, Joker and (presumably) Erdrick, but why does the leak that mentions the other 3 characters is being taken seriously? Has Vergeben or any other leaker said something about this?

Its because of the chungus leak (jk)

There's some in game evidence for DQ don't know of the others
