Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

I think we'll get at least 1 more season and then that's it for DLC. It just seems like a realistic expectation given how that's how literally every other fighting that isn't MvC operated.

Then what exactly was the question? I would think you'd want to know if he's modern or retro. Not only are they not opposites, but they mean basically the same thing, so if it wasn't a mistake, I'm not even sure what the original question was asking.

...Except that I didn't even say I hated Fortnite and brought up actual points about how it's more of a fad at the moment. Yes I know people used to say the same about Pokemon, but that proved everyone wrong, and Minecraft has actually established itself more. Who knows, maybe Fortnite will live on to become a successful franchise in the future, good for it. But at the moment I just don't see it, since I could see its playerbase moving onto a different Battle Royale game if another more appealing one ever game around. Not being included in Smash Bros doesn't automatically let franchise into a gate of success either. Even if Joker wasn't in Smash Bros, Atlus would still promote more Persona 5 content. Plus, Fortnite is an online multiplayer game that you cannot play single player either besides its Save the World PvE mode when it comes out in 2019. Once its servers shut down, old fans of it would have to recreate their own to have an opportunity to play it again. Plus, Fortnite got the Unreal series put on hiatus, which I'm sure leaves a bad taste for plenty of older games who now definitely get alienated by Fortnite's mere existence.

Lol. Wouldn't be against Earthworm Jim getting representation in Smash Bros, but who knows if Dough TenNapel has ever even expressed interest in getting Earthworm Jim included in any form.

So what if Travis Touchdown from No more Heroes gets in and one of this taunts is sitting on the toilet?

if nintendo had financial sense we'd have more MK8 DLC by now

tbh I know nothing about FE but Ike is really hot

And this is coming from someone who actually likes Camilla and wouldn't mind her in Smash.

There's a reason I don't talk about her more often.
