Honestly, i would recognize a Master Chief reveal thanks to the music.

It reminds me a lot of the Star Wars OST, and unless Sakurai pulls a bigger bomb than Snake in Brawl or Piranha Plant in Ultimate, my mind would go directly to Halo for being the closest thing when it comes to gaming.

You know, the most frustrating thing to me about the Mario roster in Smash is that it’s constantly argued of
whenever or not it’s had enough characters despite being Nintendo’s flagship series and still not having the characters that are missing.

After Brawl where it had no newcomers, Mario started having 2 new characters once a game and funny enough, it’s never the ones some people mostly want.
Paper Mario & Toad for Smash 4? Nope here’s &(not saying they’re bad choices just making a point)

Waluigi & Geno for Ultimate? Nope here’s and .

At that point, people will say that Mario has had enough characters but it really isn’t because there’s still glaring omissions like Toad & Waluigi as well personal desires like Geno or Paper Mario.

Mario’s character representation in Smash is just so bizarre because we’re in a timeline where Mario in a lab coat and an generic obstacle are added before any of those aforementioned characters.

It’s just my two cents on it.

I'd say most people preferred Rosalina, Bowser Jr, Daisy, Toad, and Waluigi to Paper Mario. Most people (aka not the avid Smash fans) just see Paper Mario as Mario and he's already in twice with Mario & Dr. Mario while the others are popular characters that appear in Spin-offs like Mario Kart, the sports titles, and Mario Party, making them much more well known.

In regards to the Smash Fanbase, it doesn't help that people claimed Rosalina would be a Peach clone and Bowser Jr. would just be a smaller, faster Bowser clone before their reveals making people less open about supporting them. Yes, this happened..shows that this fan base rarely knows what it's talking about when saying so-and-so character would just be a clone, only one they got right was Daisy thus far.

Haven't heard anything about the former, but the latter that I've seen have Wendy aged up primarily. They also probably know that actively not condoning it will just increase it..and it gives them free publicity in a funny sort of way..

well in case you're wondering, Wendy's is one of the only fast food chains to use chickens and eggs from battery cage chickens, which is essentially a method of confining hens as closely together as possible in a small cage in order to conserve space. Most places buy cage free eggs, which are chickens that are not put under this abuse or constraint. As you can imagine, more labor goes into managing cage free chickens, so cage free eggs are slightly more expensive. Which is why I'm assuming that Wendy's has still not made that adjustment as far as I know. But it has been a while since I looked into it.

tl;dr Wendy's having some 21 year old lit savage doing their twitter marketing doesn't excuse their overall behavior as a company

I just had a dope idea:

What if instead of a Minecraft stage, we got a Minecraft mode that turned every stage in the game into a Minecraft recreation of it?

It could be changed in the same menu as the one for the hazards and stage morphing. When activated, you would be in a version of Hyrule Castle made in the style of a Minecraft map, instead of the normal version of it, for example.

By Minecraft recreation, you mean made of blocks in 2D, right? It's impossible to do it for every stage, too much work. Plus, some stages are either too detailed for it or already in the style of another game.

In all seriousness, that's honestly being rather generous as the only reason you've put Banjo there is nostalgia. Although I suppose Battletoads might be able to get on that list assuming the new one's good and sells well, they DID put Rash in KI after all

It’s a shame there are people who believe that because Paper Mario has so much potential to be a unique fighter.

To be fair, it's kind of the same reason some people aren't fond of development time going to characters like Kid Goku or Base Goku when SSJ Goku, SSJB Goku, and Goku Black already exist, or other variants of Ryu that involve the shotokan style. We also have 3 Links, and they're all superficially different from each other. Having a third Mario that might be unique is just gambling on another Linkified clone. If Toon Link can't utilize items from his debut game, why would Paper Mario be any drastic? I get liking the character, but I also get people disliking the idea of him in Smash.

I'd argue Marcus Fenix is on that list. Capcom already gave him and Dom guest star status before.

But yeah. Microsoft's IPs in general don't have that "OOMPH". Age of Empires is a relic of its age, as is MechWarrior. ReCore and Sunset Overdrive never took off, Alan Wake was a one-off, Fable and Viva Pinata died off... I feel like I'm forgetting a big one, but the fact that I'm forgetting it is just a testament to how it doesn't belong on that list either.

They could include characters from Gears of War, supporting characters or antagonists like the Arbiter and RAAM, Fable characters (I think they own that), obscure/lesser-known franchises like Blinx the Time Sweeper, console-exclusive indies like Cuphead or Ori and the Blind Forest, and a bunch of Rare franchises like Killer Instinct, Conker, Perfect Dark, Battletoads, etc. Not a fantastic line-up, but they made Playstation All-Stars with about as much material to work with.

Not that it would matter, because Terry Crews would obviously be top tier.
