Read above. I already said that chrom should be a costume just like Lucina.
Roy at the very least has a couple different moves from marth.
At the very least he's more different than marth than lucina is, but in terms of people being on the chopping block lucina and chrom should be a tier above him.

See above. With training and effort, training wheels aren't needed any more. If you're a "competitive" player then marth will probably end up being better than Lucina anyway.
A truly casual player won't care about the distinction between Marth and Lucina.

If a character being better than other is a good reason to cut the latter, why people even play as more than one character?

A truly casual player will have reason outside gameplay for picking Lucina over Marth or the opposite and would likely not give a crap about her being a clone. Aside from that tmk there are some match ups where Marth's tippers aren't as consistent to use so having a character with more consistent damage can help. sometimes.

Its weird that Rayman, Globx and Barbara all had full models made and those were never used as anything else.

I was like 50% sure that Rayman was going to be in but that Spirit has me second guessing.

There are situations where the original character has better matchups. I'm surprised you haven't used Daisy as an example and instead opted for 2 characters who actually have some rathee significant differences as Daisy has, y'know, ZERO differences

Anyway regardless of your stance on Wendy the best Koopaling has to be Roy and here's why.

- Cool shades, probably an honorary member of the Squirtle Squad.
- Is another FE rep yet is such an amazing character that no one minds his presence even despite overrepresentation.
- Not afraid to openly wear pink. He's fabulous and he's not going to let arbitrary, artifical gender norms get in the way of that!
...And actually that's all I can think of. Mario characters don't exactly have a whole lot of depth to them.

Simple answer: Have Ike and Marth. Lucina can be an alt for Marth. Chrom can be an alt for Ike (He has more Ike moves than Roy moves) Lyn can be an AT, I suppose. Everyone else can go. Spirits are just fine for them.

I mean, Mighty Number 9 wasn't all too long ago and people believe Capcom saw it and thought "Wow so many people would pay that much for it"
Arcade Edition helped it a lot and UltraSFII sold well iirc
Ace Attorney 6 isn't even 2 years old and Capcom is working on AA7 iirc. Not to mention they made those spinoffs that apparently can't get localized due to Sherlock Holmes copyright or something
