Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

It’s the Phantom Thieves’ insigna/calling card, it’s moreso a symbol of the Persona 5 as a specific game

When you look for the 2 Monster Hunter songs in Smash right now, the series is in full caps, "MONSTER HUNTER".
In this fake leak, it is not, it is "Monster Hunter".
The series name is already a string in the files, so they would not arbitrarily change it.

honestly the fact they used the goddess bird from dq as the logo is a real deep cut so good on the leak maker

Monster Hunter. The bird-like thing is Dragon Quest.

And the snowflake-like emblem is a wee bit lopsided. I dunno why they can't just press the snapshot feature on these things.

the persona series doesn't actually have a specific logo, though. the p in each of them is designed to reflect the game itself and not the series. i could really actually see them going with the phantom thieve's logo since it is specifically persona 5 being added

I mean it did remind me of mow much people are sleeping on a Hunter. MH has a boss, 2 tracks, a whole sub-area dedicated to it in WoL, and is mostly Nintendo exclusive right now with the only exception of World, but I barely see it brought up in speculation or in people's predictions. It's usually shunted to the side in favor of Dante, Phoenix Wright, an RE character, etc.

yeah i'm like 99% sure that monster hunter is getting a rep, they already have the rights to it with rathalos and the music. if we're getting any capcom character, its gonna be generic monster hunter (and that's fine by me tbh)

I'm like that in real life. I dodge in a way that makes me a perfect target for projectiles.
