An awesome idea for a Fighter's Pass 2 that you just gave me would be 6 characters, announced in sets of two, within a "Mascot vs. Mascot" theme. It consist of 3 pairs of characters which are both related mascots for the same genre, but which have long been rivals.

The pairs would be:
1. Professor Layton and Pheonix Wright
2. Pyramid Head and Nemesis/Leon/A Resident Evil Rep
3. Scorpion/Sub-Zero and Heihachi/Nightmare

The first pair is themed around Logic-based Puzzle Games, the second pair is themed around Horror games, and the 3rd would be Other Fighting Games.

It'd also fit the "Everyone Is Here" theme of Ultimate quite nicely too.

Fair enough. I meant it in the context that it had nothing to do with the current discussion.
But seriously Capcom is in good with Nintendo, we already have 3 Capcom reps. Sakurai has some connection to Ace Attorney in hiring that voice actress who voices a character in those games to sing the main theme. Plus Wright is from a new game series, and wasn't even in MvCI (I think?) I just think his unorthodox method of fighting would appeal to Sakurai as he likes adding those "joke" characters.
Yeah none of these points could mean anything and you could say the same for other potential newcomers. I just have a strong feeling on this one.

At least you didn't forget to set your custom controls. I spent the whole match I was in trying to shield and grabbing instead, and vice versa.

I actually remember then when Smash Ultimate was revealed, there were some people (Partially the Jim Sterling Community) who were really upset, and loathe it simply because the DLC characters from Smash 4 are now free in the base game, meaning in their eyes, it's a slap in the face for people who payed for those characters with their own money.

Tbh, I didn't think through with a lot of these settings. In big arenas like this, you generally want For Glory settings as in: BF/FD only, 2 stocks and 5 minutes.
