I kinda agree, but most female Incineroar fan designs have been...less than ideal.Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird Pokémon don’t have more sexual dimorphism? Like, I understand why they don’t from a development perspective but... it just looks weird to me for certain Pokémon. Especially Incineroar.
TBH all of the character designs in Splatoon look super good. Part of why I adore that series is its aesthetic; it's just so perfect to me, lol. Probably helps that I grew up with Spongebob and Finding Nemo, so I already had a love for sea creature characters because of those things. That makes sense. The Inkling girl's design is actually really good. If it was a game where the main character had a set design like Mario, she'd fit the mold perfectly.
Spiky-eared Pichu is female, as per: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Spiky-eared_PichuPlayable Smash Girls:

Nana (playable in half of the Icies alts)
Sheik

Lucina
Zero Suit Samus
Leaf
Female Villager
Wii Fit Trainer
Rosalina

Mii Gunner uses a female Mii for official art, and is the default when you unlock her in WoL
if you want to get technical any of the other pokemon characters besides mewtwo could be female
ArtsyOmni’s SplatShine concept anyone?TBH all of the character designs in Splatoon look super good. Part of why I adore that series is its aesthetic; it's just so perfect to me, lol. Interesting that you bring up Mario, though, considering Splatoon was almost a Mario game! I wonder if that influenced some of the character designs at all? A lot of Splatoon's characters would fit right in with Mario, which is probably why people do cross-over stuff with them so much. It just works, and TBH I'd love to see Nintendo do an actual cross-over with the two someday. Maybe through amiibo gear in Splatoon 3?
My love of character design and sea creatures drew me to this game in the first place. That and "You're a kid now, you're a squid now!"TBH all of the character designs in Splatoon look super good. That first one makes Incineroar look like FNaF fanart.I kinda agree, but most female Incineroar fan designs have been...less than ideal.

Just cuz she's a girl doesn't mean she can't be ripped!!!
well pokemon trainers pokemon could be either sex because those 3 dont have differences between sexes. Lucario has that deep voice that that cant be a chick and mewtwo has no sex in gamei mean probably but i'm just saying. i guess the pokemon are just gender neutral characters?
a lady can't have a deep voice???well pokemon trainers pokemon could be either sex because those 2 dont have differences between sexes. Lucario has that deep voice that that cant be a chick and mewtwo has no sex in game
There's a lady having a deep voice, and then there's Goku.a lady can't have a deep voice???
Lucario sounds like hes been smoking 10 packs of cigs a day and even women can do thata lady can't have a deep voice???
So you’re saying you want female Incineroar to have boobs?Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird Pokémon don’t have more sexual dimorphism? Like, I understand why they don’t from a development perspective but... it just looks weird to me for certain Pokémon. Especially Incineroar.
I remember a joke Mario timeline thing that was kind of poking fun at the Zelda timeline that said Splatoon happened after Mario failed in Super Mario Sunshine heh.Interesting that you bring up Mario, though, considering Splatoon was almost a Mario game! No. Real cats don’t. Take inspiration from real female big cats.So you’re saying you want female Incineroar to have boobs?
You reminded me of this.Lucario sounds like hes been smoking 10 packs of cigs a day and even women can do that
So yeah, its possable
Then of course there's Gardevoir...No. Real cats don’t. Take inspiration from real female big cats.
I always knew Bowser Jr. would destroy us all.I remember a joke Mario timeline thing that was kind of poking fun at the Zelda timeline that said Splatoon happened after Mario failed in Super Mario Sunshine heh.
Male Salazzle don't exist. Then of course there's Gardevoir...
And Salazzle
You missed the point there Noi...Male Salazzle don't exist.
Instead now they have one very masculine starter, one very feminine starter, and one in the middle.i really feel like at least the starters should have gender dimorphism. they're your big marketing pokemon, have em appeal to everyone
Did I? I haven't been sleeping recently...You missed the point there Noi...
oh yeah i forgot about trans lady primarinaInstead now they have one very masculine starter, one very feminine starter, and one in the middle.
Why do male Gardevoir actually exist?Did somebody say Gardevoir?
The way I see it, Gardevoir are designed with a feminine touch but were originally intended to be androgynous. Like Tolkien's Elves.
Then the internet happened and The Pokemon Company deiced to role with it by adding the male counterpart Gallade and taking waifu culture too seriously with Mega Evolution.
but pokemon...cant be... they cant...beoh yeah i forgot about trans lady primarina
on that note forget that, we don't need gender dimorphism for the starters
Because Gamefreak never intended for it to go this far.Why do male Gardevoir actually exist?
Because Legolas was a dude. Why do male Gardevoir actually exist?
That was a great answerBecause Legolas was a dude.
they're fictional characters you can do anything with, including making them transbut pokemon...cant be... they cant...be
where you get this?? If it was in the pokedex i must of missed it because i dont remeber ever seeing thisbut canonically all primarina are ladies
i dont think nintendo designed them this way to be argued overthey're fictional characters you can do anything with, including making them trans
but canonically all primarina are ladies
i can mark this down as a thing that was in my brain todayThe project i'm working on involves Pikachu and Yoshi having a heated debate about the economy.
