Transitioning that into a new discussion...how do you guys think the Classic routes would be for your most wanted characters?

Celica's would be called "The Pilgrimage," and have her face off against other fighters with a holy theme to them. Pit, Palutena, Simon, Richter, Zelda, etc. Penultimate battle would be against Bayonetta given Celica's...less than stellar history with witches. The perfect final boss would be Galeem since it's literally a seraphim, but since it's off-limits for Classic Mode, Master Hand and Crazy Hand, to represent the duality of Mila and Duma.

Not counting the deconfirms, Dante from the Devil May Cry Series would be "Climbing the Temen-Ni-Gru"
You'll fight in order:

for Cerberus

for Beowulf
for Lady

Final Boss is an uber powered with a killing edge that is always switched on.
Well, either that or just Dracula.

Mega Man X: His would be themed fights that best replicate Maverick bosses in his games. Galleom(in place of Sigma usually having a giant mech form) could be his boss fight at the end.

: Storm Eagle(Has a Gustbellows, Purple Alt and is on Pilotwings stage)
: Magma Dragoon(Norfair Stage, Red Alt, maybe with Fire Flower or Curry) Ryu or Ken could also suffice, since Magma Dragoon uses their moves like Mega Man X does.
: Volt Kracken(Light Blue Alt, Sparks spawn on the stage, maybe on Shadow Moses) Or Launch Octopus with default costume and that Submarine Gun on Termina Bay
: Neon Tiger(Orange Alt, Gets a Killing Edge I guess, Jungle Japes)
: Sting Chameleon(Default Costume, Turns Invisible, Distant Planet)
: Armored Armadillo(Purple Alt, Turns Metal, Great Cave Offensive)
: Wheel Gator(Screw Attacks and/or Bullet Bills spawn to act like his drill attack, grabs a lot)
or(Ivysaur only) Wire Sponge: Lightning rains down after a while.
: Overdrive Ostrich (Desert 1-1, Bunny Hood, Yellow alt)

I'll try to think of one for Heihachi/Jin later.

As an avid Shantae supporter, I could see her classic mode route taking a direction for more magical and piratelike opponents, such as having her fighting Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina in a 1-on-3 fight, duels with K. Rool and Ridley, and wrapping the whole adventure up with a showdown with Marx. It's a bit of a testament to her previous roles.

Yeah, dude had 3 games. Gargoyle's Quest on Gameboy. Demon's Quest on NES and Demon's Crest on SNES.

The last one is legit a Hidden Gem, but I understand why, since the SNES had Super Metroid, MM7, MMX 1,2,3, DKC 1,2,3, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, CV4, Contra 3 and Kirby Superstar

Piranha Plant will get his own game, but it'll just be Plants vs Zombies: Nintendo edition.

So I know the obvious idea for Banjo-Kazooie’s Classic Mode was a condensed version of the first game, but I decided to come up with one involving them going through characters and stages from their Nintendo 64 games, though I’m having trouble narrowing it down to 6, here’s what I’ve had so far:

I have a very strong bias against Valve watching them turn from the cool as **** company that would rope 20+ indie games into an expansive, game-wide ARG for Portal 2's marketing to "Play more Dota cyka blyat"

That could work, I shared my ideas on the other thread but the other ideas I had in mind for her was going through the areas/bosses of HGH or taking down opponents who debuted on handhelds like , , , and .

Layton's classic route would probably be called something like "Brains over Brawn" and fight a lot of characters known for their smarts.
Such as Zelda, Palutena, Robin, Mewtwo, Bowser jr and Dr. Mario.

Either that or him fighting characters who had puzzle solving (mini) games of their own at some point.
Such as Dr. Mario, Yoshi, Pikachu, Sonic, Isabelle and Mii Swordfighter with Lip's costume.
Though most of these had a more Tetris-like puzzle games rather than the ones Layton is known for so this might suit someone like Arle Nadja more...

Route: Steal Your Heart
Joker would probably face off against sinful characters, possibly those that work with the sins of the boss characters in his home game..so...

Lust, Vanity, Gluttony/Greed, Wrath, Envy, Pride
His boss could be Marx since he's the closest to an evil god-like being and also resembles some Persona 5/Shin Megami Tensei enemies such as Jack Frost. Wario gets to pull double duty as a reference to both Kaneshiro (Gluttony) and Okumura (Greed).

Sora from Kingdom Hearts
Route: Sealing the Darkness
Sora's route would involve travelling to different worlds and getting rid of 'darkness', IE dark versions of characters akin to Link's. I don't know what order they'd be in, but I could see him travelling to different popular worlds like Mario, Sonic, Zelda, Pokémon, Metroid, and Street Fighter, fighting against characters using their black or dark colour alts, such as the darker coloured Black Alt for Sonic or Ryu & Ken in their Black Gi, perhaps fighting all three Dark Links (Normal, Young, Toon). His boss could follow Jigglypuff and Bayonetta and have him fight Ganondorf's White Alt in a giant form for its resemblance to Xehanort and Xemnas.

2B from NieR Automata
Route: Glory to Mankind
2B would face off against Robotic/Synthetic Characters to reference her battle with Machine Lifeforms, Adam & Eve, and other Androids. Mii Fighters using costumes remembling machines/robotics would be used, like the Power Lifter or LABO ones. The last main fight would be a mirror match against other 2Bs to reference (spoilers) and her boss would, of course, be Galleom.

In it, he fights characters who roll into balls or have moves that give them bursts of speed.

Then the boss is Marx. Even if he doesn't have a move in Smash where he rolls, he has a ball.

I don't actually expect him as DLC at all though, I just thought it'd be fun to come up with a route for him.

I don't like things that are in your face "LOOK AT THE JIGGLING TIDDIES!"


I'm a man, I love breasts, but at the same time, I don't need a game reminding me "HEY, YOU'RE A GUY, RIGHT? BOOBS ARE GOOD, RIGHT?!" for the majority of it.


Fanservice is best when used in moderation, not when your entire game is "MAX COMBO TO DESTROY HER CLOTHES AND MAKE HER FIGHT IN HER PANTIES AND BRA!"
