Look I know you guys are sick of tier lists, but I'm telling you, this is the one

I want opinions on this it took me like half an hour to make

Let it Snow is B tier? In what world? But, at least you made All I want for Christmas S tier so I'll call off the Air Strike full of Coal... for now.
Most likely an unpopular opinion I really like Owl City's song Kiss Me Babe, It's Christmas Time.

Hot take/unpopular opinion.

I want an 8th Fire Emblem character.


Just so we can have 8 Player Fire Emblem fights without having to resort to female Robin/Corrin.



That and this fanbase will cave in on itself regardless of how unique the character is,

The number of reps FE or any series has doesn't matter to me as long as they're unique. I'd gladly put Lyn In for DLC regardless of any cave ins

I wish the Fighter spirits at least had them since you can't even USE those ones, but nope.

Even though I don't 'like' the series, it's doable.

Homura(That's the tanned one, right), was in a fighting game on her lonesome(Which, now that I think about it, featured Saber as well, another series which I want to stay FAR away from Smash), they just........ took away all the 'clothes exploding like a balloon' thing.

Even with that it still got a higher age rating than Smash.

And looking at some of the cast and series represented, kind of surprised there is no destructible clothing.

Wasn’t there something said about the fighters pass being all third party? Or is there LSD in the air again?

Highly speculative. Reggie hinted some would be third parties, possibly from unexpected places. But who knows beyond that.

I know people have thrown Sylux around as a DLC character, but another Metroid representative would make a lot of people angry (since it'd be one too many AND there is no great Metroid fighter in the game since they nerfed ZSS badly), but it's also not warranted.

If I'm looking at unexpected fighters who are known to gamers at large, I'd say Master Chief, Ryu Hayabusa and probably Sora (I say probably not because I don't think he's known, he is, but because Square is a PITA to deal with).

To be fair I don't think Homura was the cause of that T rating, chief, probably all the characters from actual eroges who dress lewd for no reason.

I've been pulling for her for 13 years and have been pity broken by everyone else.

Agreed, three games as an Assist Trophy is long enough.

I even humored the idea of a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate x BBTAG crossover several months ago with my Offline Friends. The only difference is that Narukami was in the line up. I think these two and Joker could still work though. Who knows? Maybe it could happen in the future.

WarioWare is the franchise that I want to get more representation. More songs (body rock body rock body rock), bring back Kat & Ana as an AT, and give us a character (that isn't Ashley).

I have only 1 problem with Spirits. No flavor text. It kinda makes it feel like if you don't get what the reference is during their spirit fight, you won't understand what the character is about either.
Flavor text would help contextualize why they designed these fights as they are, and we could also, like before, learn some nifty video game history based on them.

That's really the only thing I'm missing when it comes to trophies. I could care less for the actual models they had to spend time making, I collected trophies for the lore and jokes they could provide.

Now it's either a checklist or something you mainly use for half of the singleplayer content. And that's really too bad as I do like most of how they are implemented in the game.

Only if XCX2 comes out, sells well, and Elma is a major character from it. Otherwise I would bet on either the protagonist of the next Xenoblade or Rex, each having equal chances.

I found amusing to read the trophies description in the past Smash games, and they encouraged me to play other games other than Mario and Zelda... and in my case, helped me a lot to learn english lol.

Now, the spirits doesnt tell you even the game of origin, just the generic "insert game name series"

Elma's seen a surge in popularity recently, plus she's a female character which we need more of
Also we might not get another Xenoblade lol

Oh, on the topic of Xenoblade... I have two good reasons why it should be counted as a third-party franchise in Smash:
1. On Smash 4's CSS, was after , with the other third-parties.
2, Monolithsoft has had associations with other companies before, unlike HAL Labs or GAME FREAK, which are Nintendo and nothing else.
