Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Rare Spirits basically confirm a Microsoft rep for DLC and home run contest is guaranteed to be added in a post-launch update because Nintendo loves doing post-launch updates now.

I know the general consensus is that the Fighter Pass will mainly be 3rd Parties most likely...(we know Joker from Persona 5, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the rumor of Erdrick is true. Also thinking we will see 3 of the following: Leon Kennedy, Monster Hunter, Reimu, Killia (Disgaea 5), Sora (Kingdom Hearts), 2B, Heihachi (Tekken). I’m just not confident in Western IPs making it in. That’s why there’s no Banjo, Steve, or Tracer.

However, my question is, do you think we’ll get a second Fighter Pass that is more Nintendo centric, and if so who do you think would be the 5? No Assist Trophy characters please. Spirits are fine.

I think it could be any of the following: Rex & Pyra/Mythra, Ribbon Girl, The Protagonist of Daeman x Machina, Edelgard, a Generation 8 Pokémon, Euden (Dragalia Lost), Bandana Waddle Dee, Dixie Kong, Impa, Karate Joe, Stylist, or Porky Minch.

Anyone else got an ideas? This is all purely speculation and hypothetical. Just tossing things out.

I'm sorry, but there is no way Kiddy Kong will grow up to be a genius if his idol pose consists of him playing with his feet and then wondering what the hell happened when he falls down.

I thought I remembered seeing that the Jet Force Gemini and Blast Corps spirits were added by mistake and then removed because they didn't get permission to use them or something like that. I could very well be wrong about that though.

It's too early to say something about home run contest. It might be just leftover data.

I personally don't think there will be a 2nd Season Pass TBH. 82 characters seems like a pretty rounded number of playable characters if you ask me.

Not so much predictions but I know who I want.
-Fawful
-Dixie Kong
-Cynthia (using Spiritomb, Milotic, and Garchomp)
-either Mona or 9-Volt for a Warioware rep
-Rex and Pyra/Mythra

If an ARMS character was possible, personally I think Dr. Coyle would be fun but I wouldn’t mind Ribbon Girl or Twintelle

Sorry, according to my sources, we're going to get Nintendog, Arcade Bunny, Burrowing Snagret, Hammer Bro and Vince.

It could be leftover data from when they were using Smash 4 as a basis.

That's if they don't care about the game dying and making the last newcomer become Bayonetta 2.0 because they don't give a damn to update past that point.
