Character you picked up you never thought you would: . I did not expect to like him as much as I do, and I'm heavily considering making him a secondary.

I mean, Disney's choice to allow Marvel to make UA3 Switch exclusive when it could make a lot more money being multi-platform is kinda suspect, but it's not necessarily a strong point for Sora. Dude's still gotta go through Disney legal and that's a con large enough to balance any pros for him.

They don't want to reveal anything too early, less it fizzle out. I'm guessing PP and Joker will be released in the first half of 2019, which is why they revealed them as early as they did. PP in February, then Joker sometime between February and June

Comparing Smash DLC to Mario Kart 8 DLC is like comparing apples to oranges...
They're different games with different philosophies, and different people behind them...
Whenever Smash announces a new character it's an event. You gotta have every character have their time to shine

Why would I pay for something I know nothing about? I went for the MK8's easily.:/

And remember Sakurai told us to really only get the pack if you trusted the character choices...

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't answer my question of why? What could be the reason they don't want that? It's already been decided and it won't be decided upon unless Sakurai is confident he can work it out.
The only thing maybe is that those DLCs are tied to upcoming games.

Yes, because all of the DLC fighters are sold separately, it's just that you have the option to buy them all together with the Fighters Pass.

I'm betting:

• We get the Plant in February alongside Joker gameplay (and a release date) and the reveal of Fighter #2.
• Fighter #2 gets gameplay at E3 alongside the reveal of Fighters #3 and #4.

You know what would be the coolest thing about the challenger packs?

If each character’s trailers were all connected in a sense making a mini story out of them.

Every character in their trailer gets a Smash invitation hence why it’s shown in the Eshop page and it’s revealed that the invitation that Joker stole belongs to the last DLC character.

I'm gonna be real. I think everyone is sleeping on Sans. He's really popular in Japan, Undertale was a HUGE indie game, and two other huge indie characters are an AT (Shovel Knight) and Spirit (Shantae), he's suspiciously not a Ness echo in base, and Undertale is on the Switch with exclusive content.

Also, come on, Undertale music in Smash would be dope.
Give me Megalovania, Ghost Fight, and Spider Dance remixes.
