1-Joker
2-Gen 8 Pokemon

The true answer is neither. None of these characters are Sans, therefore they are trash.

The first list for Banjo. And I guess Crash and maybe a cool Pokémon. Couldn’t care less about DQ.

Everyone on the other list is cool, but no one I really want.

You can replace Sans for anyone but Banjo as far as I care. And hey Undertale did mention Smash like Persona 5

Never got the complaints about swordsmen/women, to be honest. If they all fought the same then sure, I'd get it, but they don't.
Marth probably does have too many clones - that's my main complaint about this subject. He now has four characters based off him...give it a rest like.

And yes they may share a few tilts, aerials, and smashes but so do the fist users. Not a valid complaint.

Steve and Edelgard are among my most wanted characters, period.

Well that's not happening.
Sakurai already stated they are full fledged newcomers for each pack, for starters.
And I doubt Atlus/SEGA would be ok with that to begin with.

They're personas if they're with you, or shadows if they want to murder your ass.

The new "camera controls" in Ultimate is basically all I ever wanted after seeing how good Odyssey's picture mode is.

I can't wait to spend time taking millions of pictures of famous video game character in famous video game locations.


Also, I hope they randomly add more filters though updates just like Odyssey :D

The issue is that that's still a lot of characters based around the attacks of one character, even with their significant differences and some people take issue with that.

They're the demon designs sure, but canonically, they're still shadows (at least if I remember correctly).

It's part of the """"Persona mythos"""" where it's quite literally your inner demons.

Three.

Roy, Lucina, and Chrom.

Marth himself shouldn't count as being, "Based on Marth".

Roy was a clone of Marth in Melee, and while his moves got retooled, most of them still look like Marth's with different functionality and animation tweaks. Chrom's the same, except he's slightly more unique due to the recovery.

Based off and clone aren't the same thing to begin with, anyway.
