He talked in the begining of his smash trailer, He talked in the middle segment of P5 in a cutscense and at the end

He also has way more voice lines than any other modern Persona protag. P3 and P4 protags only ever spoke during battle, and even then that was just to call out Personas. Joker talks when you save, when you get answers right in class, and even in the middle of dungeons sometimes.

I've played plenty and generally I've found it to be an excuse to not give your protagonist a personality or a story arch because the devs expect the player to self insert or just ignore it.

Probably should've worded that better. But to be fair, I do think Mario is a lazy bland unlikable character.

The Dovahkiin talks, just not full sentences. They're more vocal than Link is, but only through Shouts.

Like Mario with his Wahoos and Let's-a gos.

Let's-a Go and Fus Ro Dah even have the same number of syllables.

Honestly I can see a fair argument for most "big name" characters now. Considering Joker was seen as one of the more unlikely characters due to all of the stuff going against him, and Reggie saying that his inclusion is a "flavor" of what the dlc is, I feel as if it's going to be REALLY difficult to guess who comes next.

I have a few characters I've really wanted but never bothered asking for cause I thought it'd just never happen. Might just take another look at their chances now.

In regards to Dragonborn, I always thought he was a possibility, wasn't nearly as negative on his chances as I was on Joker's. Now? He just looks even better.

I feel like he's gotta be SOMEWHERE in Joker's moveset. Either as a cameo in a taunt or victory animation or as an attack. He's Atlus' mascot after all.

I remember when I made the Dovahkiin thread there was very little support, so seeing more and more people open up to the idea is heart-warming to me.

We're talking about underdog picks? I really think Sceptile/Grovyle stands a decent chance.

• Quite popular in the Ballot era, plus it's a Pokemon, it would sell well.
• A Pokemon from an old Generation would certiantly be a suprise-lining up with what Reggie said.
• Gen 3 has very little content, and PMD has nothing.
• No Grovyle/Sceptile Spirits. If we take what Reggie said completely literally -never appearing in the series at all-, they're completely fine. Treeko had a Brawl Trophy, but other tan that they've never appeared.
