Sort of.

Smash attacks are on the right stick by default.

But unlike with pretty much everything else, there's no option to assign that to another button. Which, I wish there was. I really don't need two jump buttons, I really wish I could just set one of them to Smash attacks.

Yeah that'd be great. I might make a face button for grabs or something.

Yo, I just realised Joker is most likely gonna have his own boss for his classic mode route.

Uh, people who played Persona 5, you're guess is as good as mine.

Some would be waaaaay too spoilery, and the first one is 100% not E10 friendly lol. Hard to say what it might be if it's a brand new boss.

I just remembered there is one thing to fear about Joker. What if the P5 songs lose their vocals like Bayonetta?

Also watch people claim Joker opened the gates like people did with Cloud

World of Light is starting to grow on me now that I've given it a second go. I think I was just up way too late and was too tired to enjoy it fully when I first tried it out last night.

So I got to play the game at my college’s club today, and it was super fun. There was six of us, and we played for about 2.5 hours.

I played as Link, Young Link, Dr. Mario, Kirby, Shulk, Lucina, Wario, and Pokémon Trainer.

While playing, we got challenged by 16 Fighters, 6 of which I fought.
I unlocked ZSS, Wario, Ridley, Daisy, and Roy. I was also challenged by Little Mac, but I actually lost against him.

Literally everything about the experience was fun. Unlocking the characters was enjoyable and playing the matches was super exciting.

Apparently Ivysaur’s up air goes through the platform on Spear Pillar, which is funny.

I also got to play on Unova League and Spirit Train, as well as FoD. And many other stages.

All in all, it was a blast, I think I’m gonna end up loving this game.

HE DID THE EXACT SAME THING TO ME.

The CPU in the Challenger Approaching fights are surprisingly pretty hard for some of the characters. Pit and Little Mac were both pretty annoying.

That’s literally what happened to me. I got too cocky, and he KO punched me out of Spin Attack.

He was the only fighter I failed to unlock today.

I still have yet to unlock Ridley, DS, and Luigi, and that makes me sad.

It took me forever to finally get Isabelle and Wario through VS. matches. I've heard Classic is faster, so I'll probably try that later tonight. Don't want to start WoL just yet, I'll probably save that for sometime tomorrow.

I thought Piranha Plant was a surprise pick but now my mind is blown to bits... all bets are off in term of speculation imo Agumon for Smash?

Also obligatory congrats to Persona 5/Joker fans here i'm happy for you all. I must admit i don't know anything about Persona 5 but i really dig the aesthetic of the game.

I kind of want to give it a try but the whole highschool life simulator part doesn't appeal to me at all.

I can't be mad, Agumon, Crash, Spyro all that **** is possible and like I was thinking MULTIPLE PACKS ARE COMING CUZ WHY WOULDN'T YOU?

Agumon would be:

1 - One of the biggest Surprises EVER in Smash
2 - The Pokémon x Digimon dream
3 - A Hype bomb
4 - No one expects him

All at the same time.

CPUs seem a lot smarter this game. Level 5 Ness and Pikachu CPUs seem to know basic combos and simple edge guarding, it's kind of insane.

"Unlike Link's and Young Link's down air attack, Toon Link's doesn't bounce up when you hit a foe. If you try to dunk someone with it, you're gonna have a bad time."
