Well, excluding the part at the end with the pitch distortion in the background, it still sounds very heroic, only cooler (more rock/metal does not necessarily mean more evil). And Samus is cool, she goes around the galaxy destroying planets and exterminating species.

In fact, I think that it's a bit unfitting on the bad guys instead. They could have made a custom jingle for Ridley based on his iconic theme, I'm not sure for Dark Samus though.
The same for Wolf, the Star Fox fanfare sounds very odd on him, especially when he has an iconic theme too.

I still stand by my belief that Chrom was the last character completed, but not necessarily the last character added.

I mean, compared to the other echoes that aren't Ken, he has the most amount of changes, and significant ones at that. He and Ken are the only Echo newcomers to have distinctly unique Final Smashes, he has a completely different up special from his base character, and a large percent of his animations had to be fully redone on account of not using Roy's reverse grip style. Also, no fire.

Like, that stuff is significant.

Todd Howard jokes are funny because he's a weird little man and encourages this perception of him. The FO76 stuff was bad but I don't have enough of a connection to anything Bethesda does to feel strong emotion out of it. Todd is just...a character.

Okay, hypothetical time. If the fighters pack were five characters from a single series, what series' would you be fine with that happening to, and who would your choices be?

I'd be fine with a Fire Emblem pack as discussed earlier in the thread but one that comes to mind is a Street Fighter pack. Chun-Li, Dan, M. Bison, Vega, and Sakura would be worth it for me. Full bias.

Like, that stuff is significant.

He does have a lot of changes for being an Echo Fighter, but being the last character added wouldn't prevent him from being unique. Sonic was the last added to Brawl (correct me if I'm wrong), but he had his own moveset still. When Chrom uses his Final Smash model and he just looks less polished than the other Echoes, it makes me think he was developed after them, and not alongside them.

Oh god I'd sell my soul for Hawlucha. Love Incineroar but Hawlucha was my BOY. Would make such a good rival to Incin.

Gwen why didn't you tell me that before. Tell me more about Shanoa, I'm super interested now.

Shanoa got ****ed over too many times by men and she has lost the ability to have emotions as a result, literally saying "I don't do that 'smile' thing". She has a **** ton of magic attacks, as they're the only attacks she can use and holy **** does she have a lot of them. She absorbs Glyphs from enemies, either by killing them or absorbing their attacks. Her Scythe Glyphs are Falcis, Vol Falcis and Melio Falcis. The Falcis Glyph Union has her summon a huge ass scythe that hits like half the ****ing screen, it's beautiful.
