I'd like that. More victory themes for everyone!

Because Awakening is the only one with multiple characters and Fates is nigh ubiquitously tied to Lost in Thoughts All Alone. The only real oddity is Chrom not having the Id Purpose theme, which I'm hoping gets fixed in the day one patch.

At first I thought "Oh, it's probably just because he's a Lord/the main protagonist so they probably just want him to represent FE as a whole", but then Corrin got their own victory and I was left scratching my head.

Also Opo, have you seen Chrom's Classic Victory screen, because it is the most pure thing I've ever seen.

Because none of the composers felt like doing it, but whoever did the FE ones did?

An all-FE fighter pass? I know exactly what that will include as seen by the Smash fandom:

Todd Howard jokes are funny because he's a weird little man and encourages this perception of him. The FO76 stuff was bad but I don't have enough of a connection to anything Bethesda does to feel strong emotion out of it. Todd is just...a character.

Okay, hypothetical time. If the fighters pack were five characters from a single series, what series' would you be fine with that happening to, and who would your choices be?

I'd be fine with a Fire Emblem pack as discussed earlier in the thread but one that comes to mind is a Street Fighter pack. Chun-Li, Dan, M. Bison, Vega, and Sakura would be worth it for me. Full bias.

Street Fighter Pack: Chun-Li, Akuma, Bison, Vega, Guile
Pokemon Pack: Blaziken, Sceptile, Decidueye, Deoxys, Darkrai
Sonic Pack: Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, Silver, Blaze
Zelda Pack: Ghirahim, Midna, Skull Kid, Impa, Vaati
Fire Emblem Pack: Micaiah, Hector, The Black Knight, Lyn, Anna

WFT isn't a healer per se. She has two specials that can heal, but neither have healing as the main focus. Sun Salutation is an attack, and Deep Breathing is meant to boost launching power temporarily.

Mipha's healing abilities can't be used as an attack, so unless they do something similar to Deep Breathing, she'd be our first character who's main shtick revolves around healing.

That sounds like a pain to balance, tbh. It's either going to be useless or healing equivalent of Limit Charge where it encourages camping and spamming it.

the best part is, that in a year or so, we'll have people talking about how far it's come and how much of a underrated gem it like *insert online game with rough launch here* because gamers!

Impossible unless they give Roy Id Purpose too.
I really have no idea how having characters share files, and only some of them too, doesn't screw up the coding but I'm not question the programming geniuses who crammed up 1000+ music tracks in a single game.

Oh I completely understand why, but it is just a bit weird to me that Ganondorf still doesn’t have his own theme when almost every other villain does.

Dont know if this video is shown few days ago but regardless here are all the victory jingles for all characters at Ultimate!

Many existing jingles has been shorten while others got newer jingles as well.

Yoshi fanfare bother me badly.

Then I’ll make myself clear now. The ONLY first party Nintendo games I have played are Pokkén, Splatoon, and Smash. I’m not a Nintendo fan. I mainly play smash for the third parties. I actually pretty much hate Mario and Zelda in their entirety. I know enough about them to talk about potential new Smash fighters. That is it.

Believe me, if PlayStation All-Stars was a bigger thing i’d be over on that forum right now. Because I actually LIKE those characters

I think that all the Metroid reps should have had the cooler jingle from the villains.
IMO It would fit Samus as well.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how great the Splatoon one is.
Also, gotta love Sakurai's bias with Fire Emblem. Really? Three victory themes? I don't see why they have to get different ones as those were typically saved for the villains.

victory fanfares haven’t been exclusive to villains ( aren’t villains and are...with any other remains being and hopefully do. are heroes...so 6 heroes and 5 villains having exclusive victory themes)

...they better not fix anything with Chrom...only add more Chromplications

Splat is just a remix of the victory jingle from the games.

I liked it more than Mario Party 10, at least. Which isn't saying much, but still.

I miss the Inkling talk for this Splatoon victory theme

Roy is literally a non-factor though. Lucina, Dark Samus, and Dark Pit all have separate victory jingles despite being echoes.

That's because those two have their files from Smash 4, only the new Echoes share their victory theme files with their originals.

The world isn't out to get you, you know. Least of all this thread. I'm the most optimistic ************ in the universe and this thread hasn't managed to crush my spirit. I survived the Grinch Leak and all I got was this stupid t-shirt.

At the end of the day, the vast majority of people playing this game will enjoy whoever is picked because they'll be cool characters with cool moveset. Surprise be damned.

Chrom not having Id Purpose might make sense if he was a late addition. I know for Fire Emblem Warriors Celica was such a late addition that for the 3DS version in her victory cutscenes she still used Falchion LOL

Yes, that and not many different melee weapons. Not saying there are too many sword fighters but it wouldn’t hurt to have a bit of variety.

EDIT: I would love a melee staff fighter but there aren’t many characters I know of that use that weapon besides Goku from Yuyuki.
