I absolutely cannot stand that Sonic STILL has his 06 Victory Theme

I don't like how Wario's victory theme is still Stonecarving City.

I never assumed it was common knowledge. I was just correcting a mistake, nothing more.

It's also not that farfetched for the majority of people on this thread to have played OoT considering this whole forum is about Nintendo and Zelda is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises.

Then I’ll make myself clear now. The ONLY first party Nintendo games I have played are Pokkén, Splatoon, and Smash. I’m not a Nintendo fan. I mainly play smash for the third parties. I actually pretty much hate Mario and Zelda in their entirety. I know enough about them to talk about potential new Smash fighters. That is it.

Believe me, if PlayStation All-Stars was a bigger thing i’d be over on that forum right now. Because I actually LIKE those characters

Todd Howard jokes are funny because he's a weird little man and encourages this perception of him. The FO76 stuff was bad but I don't have enough of a connection to anything Bethesda does to feel strong emotion out of it. Todd is just...a character.

Okay, hypothetical time. If the fighters pack were five characters from a single series, what series' would you be fine with that happening to, and who would your choices be?

I'd be fine with a Fire Emblem pack as discussed earlier in the thread but one that comes to mind is a Street Fighter pack. Chun-Li, Dan, M. Bison, Vega, and Sakura would be worth it for me. Full bias.

I can only think about 3 more Metroid reps, so i’ll go with a DK (Dixie Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, Lanky Kong and the Viking King from Tropical Freeze) and a Crash pack (Crash, Coco, Neo Cortex, Nina Cortex and Crunch Bandicoot) instead.

I mean, it’s an orchestral arangement of the Victory Theme from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. What more could you want?

Street Fighter, Castlevania and Final Fantasy I think would be the coolest. Maybe Kirby or Zelda too.

The Fallout 76 stuff started as "haha funny, glitches as features" then it became "it deletes itself and won't uninstall unless I buy it, you're so funny, Todd", "lol cardboard disc lol", "Skyrim is in the game, you got me Todd!" and now it's just "Bethesda literally ran a scam" and it's just

Oh man, the only franchises I would even really want five new characters from would be Fire Emblem and Pokémon. I think a good portion of the fandom would be calling for my head on a platter lol.

Those could make some cool packs.

Castlevania pack could include Alucard, Soma Cruz, Shanoa, Trevor Belmont, and Sypha Belnades. Or you could replace one of those last two with Maria Renard, Jonathan and Charlotte, or more. Lots of options.

Final Fantasy I'm not even going to try and turn into a five pack because it'll only lead to fistfights. But my personal picks are Marche, Sephiroth, Ashe, Terra, and Vivi.

I played it, I loved it, yeah, but sometimes I don't think the gameplay works as well with Smash.
On that note, it's easy to just use your supers and just kill everybody.

I love Sackboy, and I rather kill Kirby for him but oh.

Many existing jingles has been shorten while others got newer jingles as well.

Yoshi fanfare bother me badly.

What they did with Fire Emblem is just weird (Chrom?). The new Metroid jingle I could have sworn had a lower tempo in the E3 build.

Piranha Plant not having the Bowser jingle is odd. They count as a villain right?

What is the Splatoon jingle in reference to? I have yet to play a game in the series.

I see Virion, I smash that Like. My Fire Emblem pack as I've said before and will say again would be Anna, Celica, Camilla, Virion, and Titania. And even then I wouldn't say no to more FE reps. I'm part of the problem.

Because Awakening is the only one with multiple characters and Fates is nigh ubiquitously tied to Lost in Thoughts All Alone. The only real oddity is Chrom not having the Id Purpose theme, which I'm hoping gets fixed in the day one patch.

Yeah, you think he would as he is from a very specific game. Its kind of the mess that is Smash Bros music. Heck, I'm boggled how there wasn't a remix from Star Fox Zero.

People are complaining about not having nerfs for characters when it's ****ING DAY -6 until the games out.

They aren't Fire Emblem characters so they aren't as important to Sakurai. /s

Virion is a national treasure and I'm still so mad he got shafted hard in the gameplay department. The guy should've come as a prepromote Sniper a la Jeorge, Louise, or Innes. Instead he got stuck with the early game Archer curse lol. But I still use him every time just because I love him as a character.
