Why are we still believing insiders? Hitagi came out the other day and said "No one knows who the DLC is and it will be a while." We know there is no second SE rep or Minecraft in Smash like Vergeben claimed. Why are we still listening to these people?

My point being that there would be people like you who are trying to sugarcoat the situation behind Square-Enix's lack of content in Smash. It was pretty obvious what your message was, but there's nothing to retort with. You think Square-Enix and Nintendo aren't doing anything unusual, but there is reason to believe that the former is being unnecessarily difficult to negotiate with. There is plenty of concern with that.

Nintendo Creators' Program is gone next month. All content creators can monetize their content as long as it isn't just straight up raw gameplay with no editorial stuff. Let's Plays and the usual editorial stuff is all good.

Probably the best possible 12 character roster. OC do not steal.

Personally, I'd do the same, except switch Gold Mario with Dr. Mario, and make Gold Mario a Metal Mario skin.

Real talk: I know this is a joke, but Mario has such a wide variety of abilities that an 11 Mario roster would still have to potential to be very interesting.

on a serious note, considering EO was originally a ressurrectiom of old school dungeon crawlers, it would be fun if they tried that with another genre of RPG. As long as they keep the party building and character creation as they are, making my OCs is my favorite part of any EO game

No. I've long since held that the whole "Oh, it's going to be DLC now" was just a cover to avoid having to admit it was bad information. The fact that SE has next to nothing in Smash suggest this was always unlikely. Moreover, Hitagi admitted that people won't know any of the DLC any time soon. This makes sense as the line up was only just finished and it will be harder to leak as there are fewer parties involved in the DLC than the main game. I think people are putting too much faith in the soothsayers.
