I love how people here ignore that Sakurai and the team likely make decisions about what to add and ask for too and assume that Square is just holding away things that would further advertise their brand.....because we as the consumer didn't get all the stuff we want.
I also love how we assume the stuff other series get is some kind of love package to the developers that comes free of charge rather than the likely required advertisements and extra charges to Nintendo to get the rights for that content if not just holding the character rights hostage if they don't get that extra stuff.

Thanks for proving my point. There is good reason to be concerned with the lack of content on Square's side of things.

How could Atlus announce something a year ago, and then have zero information for the rest of the year?

1. an SMT:SJ remake release
2. a Dragon's Crown remake release
3. Etrian Odyssey Nexus release
4. a Persona 5 anime keep running
5. a Persona 5 dancing game announcement and release
6. a Persona 3 dancing game announcement and release
7. a Persona Q sequel announcement and release date

while their presence at Tokyo Game-Show, the Japanese E3, be about Persona Q2, that fanfic crossover game announced just a few months before.

Which they already confirmed wouldn't have map drawing (they explicitly said Nexus would be the last one with that system) and is probably going to be a series reboot (especially with how different the silhouettes are in the teaser).

They put it out in August; I'll be amazed if we hear anything about it by next August.

Or I could go boating but it costs money to even stock the boat up to even get the cash. And **** if I know how to manage that.

It's no different for the other games. Leaks are simply a part of the business now. Especially for a massive triple A game like Smash.

Sucks for them but not a surprise. They should be expecting it.

Honestly at this point, between Sakurai meeting with Takumi and the premise of Spirits, it makes almost too much sense to include Phoenix Wright and Maya as dlc, well after the blast.

Oh I'm deeply looking forward to this DLC.

on a serious note, considering EO was originally a ressurrectiom of old school dungeon crawlers, it would be fun if they tried that with another genre of RPG. As long as they keep the party building and character creation as they are, making my OCs is my favorite part of any EO game

I dunno, I just can't imagine Phoenix Wright in Smash. It just doesn't seem to fit. I'm sure they could make it work, but I'd have to see it in action. Personally though, I'd pass on him. Never really been a fan of him

I was admittedly more so joking about that part. In the sense that the themes would be a keen matchup and all the more a fit. But yeah, that part isn't evidence.

Nintendo Creators' Program is gone next month. All content creators can monetize their content as long as it isn't just straight up raw gameplay with no editorial stuff. Let's Plays and the usual editorial stuff is all good.

The ****ing "Don't Sue Nintendo" meme is now dead, fellas. Our little boy Nintendo is growing up. Look at 'em leave the hatch.

By the way, this isn't a Nintendo of America thing, this is an affect on all of Nintendo's regional subsidiaries. Even Japan. THAT right there is huge.
