I'm a trans woman and yes I consider Birdo trans representation. The original description of "He thinks he is a girl and he spits eggs from his mouth" is just a very transphobic way of describing a trans woman. Nintendo just doesn't want to deal with it so they describe her as gender indeterminate in more recent games.

any LGBTQ+ representation doesn't fly in China, and China is one big @ss market. so Nintendo doesn't want to recognize birdo or any character as trans. so they resort to calling s/he crazy. it's not cool but China be what China be dude...

Bayonetta is quite easy to play. Her fundamentals arent hard to get down at all, and her combos are pretty simple. She is the definition of a low-risk high-reward character.

I’ve seen so many people fail as Bayonetta it’s not even funny. There’s definitely not a massive skill cap, but for people who aren’t able to combo effectively?

She just kinda becomes a hope you get lucky sorta character IMO.

Sakurai even intentionally mentions how he wanted the flashy combos to be familiar to those who have played her source game.

Not everyone can pick up that strength of combos easily. And that is pretty much what Bayo is.

Alex Mercer. Because he is actually an edgelord. Like, you kids think Dark Pit is edgy, nah, Alex Mercer is basically Carnage from Spider-Man, but without the humor and goofiness he has. He just kills people and gets pissed off at the world. Also his series is the deadest of them all.

Shepard would be Ambien in Video game form for me though.

I'd say it was great tbh, especially this last week with the datamine craziness. Better than the awful drought that was October.

But this clsssic mode tree can’t be complete with out those characters for those who choose to use clsssic mode to get everybody.

Oh and I’m assuming you can recruit everybody in world of light because I believe the map is made so you can go anywhere so you can reach everybody but that’s a no brained question

Alex. He's like edgy Kirby in power set. Though I hate how they treated him in Prototype 2. Went from kind of coll at the end of the first game to generic "rawr hoomans bad" villain in the second
