I don't know if spirits actually deconfirm characters or not, but I'm happy that she "survived" so far and she is the only one who survived.
Also, Adeleine is a strange case, because, let's suppose that they are adding Adeleine & Ribbon: would the spirits of Adeleine and Ribbon separately "deconfirm" the duo as a character? (since variations of playable characters can be spirits, such as Meta Ridley).

Yes, and Gooey, the animals (separately; only some of them have been found but it's supposed that all of them are in, including the DL3 ones), Prince Fluff, and even the super obscure Gryll!
I doubt Adeleine will miss, the only way is if Sakurai hates the character.

Well that's what the "Kappa" was for, lmao. I honestly don't know what to expect at this point. I just want a good selection of DLC (or at the least someone I will use as much as Ike and Mega Man).

The one I'm actually worried about is Namco's presence in DLC. Whoever it is could be KOS-MOS or Not-KOS-MOS. I can't even fathom the idea of Dante or 2B, or anyone that would make me super jazzed. Smash 4 gave me Ryu, and Cloud was a neat surprise, but they felt more like milestone celebrations, not personal Wants, get me? Still glad we got them though.

Eh, I can say the same, only character that was a personal want was Isabelle. Still, now that I have every single veteran, I'm not too invested in DLC. A new main or personal favorite would be awesome but I'm already content.

Just my opinion, but I'd be angry if Adeline got in as a new Kirby rep. She's an obscure character to anyone who isn't a massive Kirby fan and basically only appeared as a side character in one game that is 18 years old. Bandana Dee, Galacta Knight, Dark Meta Knight, Dark Matter, Animal Buddies, Magolor, Susie, The Jambastion Mages, and Hyness would all be better characters. Most of them are spirits though

Not really. That would be like them making Alph as a DLC character even though he's already an alt character.

It just means that the info Hitagi has been trying to get FOR US is fake and he's taking more time to confirm that what he has is true.

So I think that she's just as deserving as characters such as Taranza and Susie.

Anyway, even in case she's considered obscure, the thing is that her summons aren't obscure at all. She can summon some of the most iconic enemies from the series, including Kracko who has been in almost every Kirby game (when he's not in he's usually replaced by a mechanical clone or something).
It all depends on who they will make her summon in the moveset.
