Excuse me, I need a minute to step back and make a convoluted excuse about how you're delusional and Spirits still deconfirm characters.

OK. Time to try to bring up a relevant subject. I will bring up a challenge. Pick the 5 DLC characters but you got to give them special costumes like Bayonetta´s or Cloud´s. Which characters so you choose and what special costumes do you give them?

I only really have two in mind - and one of them is the one that’ll cause me to be okay with the pack regardless.

First: Dovahkiin definitely needs male and female looks. See my post in his thread:

Possible costumes:

Male 1: default Nord. Blond hair, blue eyes.
Female 1: takes Lydia’s appearance. I debated on Aela, but Lydia is one of the better known characters and she’s more armored.
Male 2: takes after Brynjolf. Red hair, green eyes.
Female 2: blonde hair, blue eyes. I used Stormcloak colors for her.
Male 3: Redguard, black hair, brown eyes. I went with an imperial color scheme, but took Tullius’ gold armor since all the other men had grey. Not that the Redguards would support the empire by Skyrim, but eh...
Female 3: Altmer. I took a gold Elven recolor for the armor, and gave it some Thalmor black touches.
Male 4: Orc. This model will have a slight difference from the other male models to get the correct teeth. Armor is darker like the Orcish armor in game.
Female 4: Dunmer. I tried a Dark Brotherhood motif for the armor here.

Also Orc Dragonborn is also awesome.

Second: I’d love to see Nightmare and Siegfried together as alts. Just take their SC movesets and mash them together, throe in Ostrheinsburg castle and some great songs like If There Were Any Other Way..., and we’re set.

Sakurai said that Cloud's inclusion was more about representing Final Fantasy than VII specifically, because Cloud is more iconic than any of the Final Fantasy characters from Nintendo systems:

But on the other hand, if you think about who to add from Final Fantasy, it’s hard to come up with a choice that’s not Cloud. We could have used Terra or Bartz, protagonists in their own right, but I feel like there would be some people who wouldn’t know who those characters are.

Though I imagine the rules could be broken if a really iconic character has never been on a Nintendo platform, but the opportunity is open. I think that might happen for one of the five DLC characters.

I think I did see an Advance Wars spirit at some point, but I can't remember exactly who it was. Pretty sure it was either Eagle or Sturm, but it definitely wasn't Andy, Max, or Sami, so I'll keep dreaming with ya!

The two spirits in question are Eagle and Olaf.

Olaf was already shown off and he possesses as you would naturally expect.

But yeah, no sign of any Advance Wars main character which is very odd. Andy is like the only main character not to be shown off at all in Spirits. I fully expect him to be in the mode but if he's not i'll know something is up.
