Tossup between Ringabel and Edea. Agnes is my Smash prediction because they've tried to push her as the face of the franchise, but Edea was playable twice and has costumes from two games to use, so she'd be nice too.

We don't talk about Tiz.

Meh I am leaving SmashBoards until December 10th. It is honestly getting pretty boring talking about DLC, and the flare of this website in general seemed to decrease as the final roster is leaked. DLC will definitely be hype, but until that, there is going to be a drought. I will take any DLC characters. The only one I really want is Steve and that is it. All of the characters are already satisfying to me. I am sure Sakurai and his team will make very smart choices with DLC. I hate no characters, and none bore me. Classic Mode looks fantastic and Spirits are already making up for the trophies being lost, oh this game looks glorious.

I agree when BluePikmin11 says speculation is becoming more boring. Honestly it is, and I would rather go play Ultimate than constantly speculate about the next character. Plus Twitter and Discord have really been growing on me lately.

I believe he had a trophy in Smash 3DS so I think he has a good chance of being a spirit at least.

It is kinda of weird for there to be a ''STINGY SQUARE" narrative when they made Octopath Traveler for Switch.

They just ported practically every modern FF over to Switch.

They also opened a separate internal studio just for Switch products.

This does contradict the whole ''They are playing hardball with Nintendo."

If I were friends with them in that regard and suddenly they were telling me ''You have to make Cloud the le DLC again."

I'd look at them and suggest the entire company be checked for bipolar disorder.

I'd be surprised if no one honestly knew Geno either from the Mii Costume, the Smash community or simply from playing SMRPG; y'all act like he's a literally who and yet the SNES cartridge alone sold about 2.13 million, and while we don't know the Virtual Console version's sales, you'd think a decent chunk of people who bought the SNES Classic would have played it.

Plus, it's not like some of the 3rd-parties aren't already "literally whos" to a lot of those in the target audience (basing it off of the E10+ rating). I'm not saying Geno wouldn't get a "who?" response from a large amount of people (of course he would), but some of these other characters would, too...

If it's between Sora or DQ, though, I'd lean towards Sora because of the legal crap they'd have to go through for DQ music.

Well to be fair not everyone has played Mario RPG(it's one of the few Mario games I have yet to play plus I'm not big on RPG games though I do like Paper Mario and M&L games) I honestly didn't really know Geno before he was brought up among the Smash community.

It's the same company who made FFXV, then will Release KH3, Make DLC plan to cancel them for FFXV, and literally opened the Pandora box of FFVII Remake on PS4 (But probably 5 actually) literally 6 month after announcing a FFVII port on PS4. Claim that Turn based RPG don't sell, yet make Bravely Default, only to be proved wrong. SAID AGAIN that Turn based doesn't sell, and make Octopath

They don't know what they want to do or how they do it.

They just gives project to Nomura since what he touch turn to gold, but then sabotage it themselves like with FFXV

A fighter 0 would be so cool and could technically fit into Ultimates pattern of ordered fighters. Not to mention a perfect reason for why Sakurai couldn't talk about a secret character lol.

Yes I know it's not happening, but I think it would be so cool to have just 1 original fighter representing Smash. We already have original bosses and villains.

Octopath was done by a separate team and it was just that. One game.
Sqaure hasn't show much support for the Switch nor did they even show confidence in Octopath in the first place, so much so that they were surprised when demand was not being met so they had to ship out more copies... and it still wasn't enough.

I don't want him to come in and have the literal exact same move set as MvC3 in Smash.

That's just....boring.

I get it when it comes to people like Ryu and Ken, but lol, Phoenix gives a chance for Sakurai to be creative in his own way, why would you ask him to just do what Capcom did?

I wouldn't even want Monster Hunter to fight like she did in Infinite.
