Actually, they could pull another Isabelle if they wanted to do so.
But if we get a more developed moveset, i would find it better.

I don't think there are any real criteria to what an echo fighter is, as long as Sakurai himself thinks they might be an echo fighter.
Anyone who says Sakurai isn't a troll is wrong.

They found the idea of promoting a skin from a videogame movie to sell more amiibo better.

He is referring to a Cloud costume DLC that she got on FF XII

I don't think so. They're similar in a few ways, and she's had access to the Buster Sword, but typically she uses a gun-blade to my knowledge.

In all seriousness, I have no clue. I've played half of FFVII, and none of FFXIII, so I really don't know how similar they are.

In all seriousness, I have no clue. I've played half of FFVII, and none of FFXIII, so I really don't know how similar they are.

Due to the reactions that i got from apparently not getting a joke, i supposed that you referred to the Cloud DLC costume from her game.

If this board hates me so much, just make a thread about it.

Partially. I've seen Lightning compared to Cloud before, but I don't know how fair or accurate those comparisons are. The Cloud costume is a bonus.

I suppose that the comparisons come mostly from the costume, since that game apparently allows characters to change the type of weapons they use.

And yes, i remember seeing somewhere official art of Lightning with weapons that aren't swords.

Pre-E3 a lot of people were very-cut happy towards FE. Seriously, I've seen people cut Robin. Of all the FE characters you want to cut, you pick Robin?!

IIRC they tried to push lightning as the new face of FF instead of cloud and when the plan flopped horribly people started calling her female cloud. Im not 100% on this though.

I like magic users, and Robin is the only Fire Emblem rep in Smash who uses it.

Some people don't like his voice, find his personality boring, and he's not waifu material to them (actually shouldn't have to be). I still prefer him anyway, if that means anything.

Yeah, i guess that they were right about me having the worst taste here. I should care more about waifus for the sake of randomness and not characters that i actually want like Crash, Dixie Kong or even Lara Croft.

Daisy and K.Rool are just so uninteresting to me and gameplay of them hasn't changed my mind. Daisy has been one of my most hated characters ever since I played MKWii.
K.Rool is someone I just don't care about as a character and his fanbase was probably the most annoyingly toxic people I've seen after Smash 4 released.
And as a fighter? His moveset feels completely uninspired, specially his specials: koopa cannon+inhale, ROB's recivery with a hitbox, a boomerang that sucks and a damn counter. His A moves are just as basic as the Smash 64 characters

Ironically, he's less of an Echo than the Melee clone trio of Dr. Mario, Yink and Pichu, who all, at most, have two totally different moves from their original counterparts.

Too much Daisy Bike? I remember really hating Daisy in MKWii because I got stuck on 150cc special cup for a while, and my reward for finally beating it was Daisy.

If you as me, I'd probably keep Ike, or go the way of getting crucifed by Fire Emblem fans, and cut every FE veteran aside from Marth and add Eldeguard in their place for the next Smash game.
