Seeing that trailer awakened my Pokemon itch, and there's only one way to scratch it...

Nah it's still too rich for my blood atm, I'll probably pick it up next year. Until then I've got stuff like Reborn and other fangames to scratch that itch.

I mean it could be a hint towards a DLC rep, but it also could not be.

It's definitely weird that they decided to do it in reverse for whatever reason, but I don't think it necessarily points towards certain characters considering how vague of a hint it is. I've seen people try to argue it's a Crono hint as well.

Whatever reason they had, I really doubt it's DLC related.

obviously the rewinded trailer is a hint that geno is in the game, because we're winding back to the past in search of one moment (like geno only being in 1 official game) (he got retconned out of superstar saga so that no longer counts)

I wonder if more of the playable Pokémon from Smash Bros will appear in this movie. We have Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Greninja, Charizard and Squirtle (in a poster at least) so far.

Dunno if someone replied but you can see Squirtle during that cage fight in the right corner

No he hasnt. I'm not naive enough to think that being a Pokeball means you cannot be a character.

Not gonna lie, I kiiiiinda disliked it at first. Seeing realistic 'Mons instantly made me go "Nope!" but after watching it a second time all the way through...

It looks really cute and fun. Greninja and Jigglypuff kinda weird me out, though.

Not that we've seen.

Probably a Spirit at most though, and even then it's iffy because there's SO many different Pikachu outfits and characters that they probably won't include all of them.

Ryan Reynolds is voicing pikachu in a live action Pokemon movie. That's actually happening in real life as we know it.

Yeah but for some reason Nintendo don't want to make money and sell us Alt costumes.

Instead they decide to sell us Mii Costumes. And for some reason I don't think those sell very much.

I know there's probably more work for alt costumes but they'd be SUCH a good idea to sell.
