Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Just checking in. Cant exactly catch up on nearly 100 pages since last night.
Can anyone give me a TLDR of the rare conference that was supposedly happening today?
And why is everyone mentioning Hitagi?

As long as Inkling, Wario, and Luigi stay, I will buy each Smash iteration.

Heck, I'd still buy it even if only Luigi stayed. I like Smash, and while characters are important to me, they don't really make or break it for me. I love Smash's gameplay, so as long as a new one is fun to play, I don't really care who's in it TBH.

Only 4 fan-requests are added for the hardcore audience, these four are:

Banjo, Geno, Shadow, & Isaac which means the rest are recent/casual choices.

Deal, because like you said this is probably the only Smash game where we get every single veteran.
But if it's an either-or situation give me everyone is here again, I've lived without Banjo for this long and can keep living without him.

But for real, if BOOBS were being added by Cygames, Vira isn't who you'd go for.

- Don't really care, but it's a great pick considering Sakurai only has THREE fighters from his own series
- Axe representation is needed. Pretty sure she can use magic too.
- Played ToS, 100% satisfied due to bias
- Don't really care but makes sense bc of his series' impact on gaming
- Played KH series, 100% satisfied due to bias

so yeah, I'd be very happy with this lineup

**** yeah.
I'm tired of this weird grandfathering shtick that Sakurai absolutely loves.
His obsession with bringing **** back is genuinely getting to the point where other content is being affected.
It's time to cut the fat so that more and better things can be added.

The hardest choices require the strongest wills.

This honestly makes Vira look like a better choice now. (We do not need anyone from that series in Smash though from what im finding)

Those characters I posted are defined by the following personality the following traits

Musclehead idiot who thinks with her stomach, freakishly strong to the point that the greatest warriors can't really fight against her, because skill means nothing against someone who can smash cities with her axe

Kind hearted shrine maiden who wants to help everyone purge their impure desires and thoughts, and will go to any lengths to help them overcome them-- not in that way, pervs.

And finally, you got Camilla but good- a girl who wants to be a big sister, because she herself feels neglected and is starved for the love that she denied herself. She wants to prove to her uncle that she's an amazing samurai.

Tbh, fans freak out whenever he cuts someone that isn't Young Link or Pichu.

This is the thing that never gets brought up and it drives me insane. The only reason Roy was added was because Sakurai wanted to add Lief and when he went to IS they were developing Blazing Blade so Sakurai made it Roy to help promote the game. Corrin wasn't even going to be in the game until the dev team convinced him of the move potential. It probably would have been a different promotional character like Elma or Wonder Red or friggin Poochy.

I'm so tired of people insisting there absolutely has to be a Three Houses rep when we don't even have a release date on that game, the timing doesn't make sense, and any perceived bias or "rule" about just HAVING to have a Fire Emblem character has no real basis in fact.

edelgard looks cool tho can't wait for three houses I hope it's lit

Honestly, I hate that leak. It caused nothing but trouble for everyone and turned the whole community into a warzone.

On the bright side, hopefully people will learn from Grinch leak and be more open to calm conversation on leak validity in the future.

No thanks! I think the roster is fun just how it is, TBH. Don't really know what "fat" there is to "trim".
