I'm gonna laugh to the sky when they get in after being made fun of for wanting those two characters, that's for sure.

But even still, your argument is kinda boiling down into:


"This series has something I don't approve of, so it shouldn't be in"


Instead of, you know, arguing that it's a mobile game with basically NO Nintendo presence.



I love Granblue, and even I think it getting in Smash is ludicrous, but being a prude about some of its character designs is stupid, because by that logic, Corrin shouldn't be in due to Camilla or a handful of Fate characters, or Palutena because she pole dances.

It's not that you want Pyra/Mythra/Rex in Smash, it's that you're making fun of character designs by the guy who did FF Tactics, while stanning for designs by Saitom

I'm pretty miffed at Starbound @Tougon Nekoo Hydrualic Hydra vaanrose Will and Professor Pumpkaboo for not addressing the question I raised, which was "why is Yoshi not a higher priority in Smash promotion." Instead, you were either dismissive, tried to dilute the point, mocked it or tried to make it about me (which admittedly worked, though that was cause I was rushing my answers as I stated).

The only user in this thread who even ATTEMPTED to answer the question in good faith was Noipoi and I'm beginning to understand why he's considered a diamond in the rough.

My thinking is that if I were the promotional team for Smash, and I had to whittle the cast down to 20 to use in promotion, then Yoshi would definitely be in there. Yoshi not seemingly getting recognition in relation to his popularity was the crux of all my frustrations but none of you seemed to get that, ganging up on me thinking I wouldn't settle for anything less than "Yoshi being front and center of all the ads."

I'm beginning to see what FreeFox was talking about. This is the second day in a row where you used a person's passion for a character against them without taking things at face value. I get the (hopefully wrong) impression that the vast majority of you sees passionate fans as freaks who can't function in the normal world. If I was like most people I'd leave for how toxic things are getting, but I'm not most people. I can handle being ganged up on for merely doing what I do.

Now, I'll ask this question one more time, and if you can answer in good faith without being a smart***, being dismissive, trying to make it about me or diluting the point by saying "but my character wasn't in the ad," then zip your lip

Wario, DDD, Ridley and Bowser are all in their bases, looking over their treasury. A sudden change in the lighting and they turn, only to see nothing. When looking back to their treasury, they find something precious gone. All of them freak out and a single note falls from the ceiling.

As a massive Yoshi fan, myself, I think it's likely because he's still seen as a sidekick to Mario in a lot of ways. His own games have been successful, but that perception of him from the general public likely won't change for some time.
