So I've been away for a while 12 hours and gamefaqs is now claiming that ZhugeEX backed up Verg's statement that Isaac is an AT but didn't provide a link. Is that true (if so, link please) or not?

gotta be real, it'll be hard to convince me that the final newcomers won't be garbage if all the insiders are scrambling to claim that Geno and Banjo just flat out aren't in/are ATs and Isaac is an AT. at least I have... Richter, I guess.

I think the Mii costume for Geno in 4 is a pretty clear indicator that they know people want to play as Geno. There's no way they would just throw him in as an AT and leave it at that.

No they're not. They wouldn't do that because if they're wrong then people are just going to boast about it and bring it up every time they report on another rumor. You still see it happen with Emily, Liam etc all the time despite the stuff they've gotten right.

Yeah that reason was wonky ass collision issues and the 3ds. Also the first 2 Golden Sun games sold pretty damn well iirc

Part of me is thinking this Direct may not open up with a character reveal (at least a typical one). If the secret mode is a story mode, then it may open up with an opening cinematic, perhaps transitioning into a character reveal.

Zhuge really twisted with my emotions as a Banjo fan using the phrase "putting the pieces together." I soon realized it was in reference to the person's post, and then he clarified it, but boy was I thrown in for a loop.

Completely different example.

Geno has more requests and Sakurai has gone on record to say it took quite a bit to get the rights to the costume but he wanted to give something for the fans.

Genos is also the only one with a tag line.


On top of that I’d be willing to bet everything from smash 4’s dlc was already negotiated to be used for this game since they knew they were making it around that time.
Therefore Sakurai knew they would have the rights to geno.

At that point I don’t see them not making him playable. Especially when unlike those examples Sakurai literally said he would be a perfect addition to the roster.

Geno has way more going for him then most characters to be quite honest
