Are more people on board for this theory? I can see that Incineroar is real DLC, announced at VGA.

I guess I CAN see it happening, but I dont think it aligns with who Nintendo are. I think most people dont really know Nintendo when I see all these character DLC lists with like 10+ characters. I just doubt that Incineroar is in at all, despite what all the insiders say.

He might have a competition with Joker, after all Persona 5 is the best selling game in the franchise if I recall correctly. How this relates to the popularity of the game is debatable.

Personally, Sakurai can add Teddie into the game and I'd be happy.

ill agree that disney brings people to look at/try the series but its not what keeps the games afloat. The series has more than enough people in the fan base that keep the series going.

However Disney is the lasting element that will drive those games into future generations even more than parents who pass them down will.

A newbie looking in from the outside isn't interested in Sora. They see Donald and Goofy and Mickey and know it's a Disney game.

And that draws them in.

And that's important. New fans are always more important to companies than your old fans. Old fans obviously are important as well, but new fans means your product and franchise is growing.

And by the nature of new Disney World inclusions it kinda shows that Square knows Disney is the most important element of the franchise. Why? Because when you add Big Hero 6 let's say for example to KH3.

You have just now brought in a whole set of people/children who watched Big Hero 6 that never touched the Kingdom Hearts games and thus will go back and travel down the line of all the old products to be prepared for KH3.

Adding a new OC in KH can't do that for the fanbase and Square. Only adding a new Disney property or icon can.

It's why it was laughable when they initially said Frozen wouldn't be in Kingdom Hearts 3, because let's face it, no matter your feelings? Frozen makes bank.

I think that Grinch being real would benefit Crash.

Since he has more chances as DLC, Grinch would make things easier since it takes down the most popular characters already, so Crash can stand against the new requests way easier.

They're not dumb, they're plenty experienced with picking out the fake stuff. It'd be one thing if it's one or two, but we're talking tens of them. I don't know what it is, but I'm fairly confident there's a good reason why they all reached a conclusion that Incineroar is in.

I'd sooner believe that the big cat was just outright cut, but even that I think they'd take into consideration.

See, in this case it wasn't fake info alongside correct ones. Incineroar is being named with characters that actually happened, the roster already leaked whereas it hasn't with Tekken.

Unless they deliberately gave out partially correct info to leak because...???

How's are Grinch leak going

Grinch leaks going strong in my eyes. Was at 60% real yesterday, but a post last night speculated reasons for the background discrepancies, which to me adequately explained against the primary argument for it being fake (not completely), bumping me to 75% real. Now, for me, it’s just the aggressive consensus of insiders that concerns me, though I can see a perfectly logical reason for the discrepancy with the evidence they’ve provided (which has been just characters not in the mural). Nothing’s changed as far as I know.

as bad as this makes me sound, I dont think Sakurai would put in a character just because a friend is sick.

Well the point would be they already were gonna be in 4 but cut. So I think Sakurai could easily feel a need to make it happen because he already liked the idea and wanted to honor a friend if things went south.

Because the best play has always been gen 8 Pokemon as a dlc character. They definitely went into this game knowing dlc was coming.

We also know gen 8 has been indevlopment for awhile. So it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for them to make sure smash promotes the game considering they knew gen 8 was coming admist the projected time period for dlc.

One reason is because it would literally blow insiders back.

Let’s say Incenroar was never in to begin with.

Why would you tell people he’s in? They know the game is leaked with images every time.

So how do you get insiders to do your work for you and cover a leak up? You make sure they are convinced a character is in the game that isn’t and wouldn’t show up when the game actually leaks.

That leaves insiders confused and their cocky egos will make them say it’s fake.

The exact effect we could be seeing here.

I seriously don’t understand the reasoning for using Incineroar as a reason to disbelieve the image. There’s nothing indicating it’s the final banner. There’s nothing preventing Incineroar as a later reveal or DLC. And insiders have given no other reason to doubt it (Spawn Wave gave us one extra character, but follows under the same logic).

The insiders can be right, and so can the image.

I’d love to be convinced otherwise and bump down my 75% certainty.

It's how you catch leakers. You seed 1 bit of false information with a lot of true information. Federal officials and Police do it all the time.

I really doubt he's DLC...
