Tbh, female or not, I play a character if I like it and is cool. Bonus point for the cute design. Big fan of ZSSamus cos' she's badass, for example, and fun to play. Also a big fan of Zelda, and her Between world design, damn I want to hug her<3. But I also like to play Marth <3. I think the best way to give the characters justice is to not differenciate gender, but appreciate the character for what they are : characters.

Just dropping that there to add for the "mach rider" discussion, it's silly, in my opinion of course.

No. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I believe the original 12 should be untouchable. Even if Smash reboots down the line, OG12 should never be cut, but rather always be the base that's built up from.

She was almost cut in Brawl (might have been in Melee too idk for sure on that though) and was one of the last reveals in 4. It's clear that outside of the anime's first season she's been largely irrelevant.

Though the ease of development argument makes sense as her attacks seem pretty simple to program, not to mention she floats like Kirby.

So we know an analysis was done that showed discrepancies between the leaked battlefield and the official one in places covered by characters. I'd like to see an analysis done to see if there are spots hidden behind characters that the leak got right. If so that would go a long way to prove if it's legitimate.

So actually, I found time to do a little bit of examination. It's not much, but at the very end of the 8.8 direct, the red break in the clouds behind Dark Samus is totally visible, and that looks about good in the leak. Otherwise, there isn't much to gleam from the current panorama, pretty much everything is always covered. I'm willing to chalk some of the clouds up to blur, but the large chunk of missing land and fortification that's behind Bowser is a notable discrepancy that I have no legitimate explanation for, but don't believe is nearly enough to discredit the entire thing.

People have yet to legitimize why a 50-year-old Frenchman would put so much effort into faking a leak involving both Smash Ultimate and the Grinch of all things, or how somebody could feasibly be impersonating him but have access to all of these materials.

I personally don't see how anybody could have the presence of mind to create seven renders for characters, most of whom have tangible and circumstantial evidence of them really making the roster, make an extremely well thought out full fighter panorama, including adding on to characters previously covered up and obscure details about some characters that aren't brought to discussion, as well as know enough about promotional material assembly to fake instructional material for both Smash and the Grinch, AND create the entire circular display ring for Smash. That is a ridiculous amount of knowledge to keep in order and a truckload of physical material to produce with realistic structure.

The possibility exists that it's fake, but it's so infinitesimally small due to the ridiculous train of thought, amount of knowledge required to maintain all of these elements to the degree of quality they have, and the amount of work to produce all of this physical material, all within the time frame of since the Chadendorf leak dropped, since this would obviously be what it is building off of if it were to be fake. I just don't see it happening.

How dense do have to be to see that Inceniroar was the headliner in that movie and will be the headliner of Ash's team?

It never did and it never will.

A lot less dense than one needs to be to think that being one of the two Pokemon used by the antagonist makes you "the headliner" of a movie, or thinking that one of the most heavily used promotional Pokemon who is Ash's actual current ace in the anime and received a special unique form ala Ash-Greninja "doesn't matter" at all.

Well when most video games usually star Anthromorphic animals I'd think we're all furrys.. There could be a few more Smash Sisters but that doesnt make or break the game. Eric is working on his stuff, janitor/someone that usually isnt supposed to be in the office comes in, but Eric leaves to go take a leak or whatever.

Janitor notices Eric leaves his phone in the office, sees the Smssh print documents and opens up Erics phone easily since most older folks dont put passwords on their phones(or dont even know how to). Maybe he has Snapchat to talk to his grandkids/younger relatives, not unheard of.

Janitor is mad at the world (or Nintendo) for whatever reason uplaods story of this leak using Erics phone, and some younger relative that saw the story is into Smash and saves what he can. Eric probably doesnt check his snapchat often for obvious reasons so he doesnt notcie whats going on.

The kid/relative tries to smear out the name to protect Erics identity, but it doesnt quite work.
It goes to discord, then 4chan, then everywhere.

Its reachy, but its not out of the realm of possibility, and makes more sense than someone framing the guy for legal implications if you ask me.

If the info Mystic gave was to believe, he mentioned there being 3 echoes left; The obvious picks are Shadow and Ken, but no one else in the leaked mural but Mach Rider would fit to be an echo. But at the same time, it can be easily another character we don’t know about, and if the toy Sakurai bought for the gun was for Mach Rider, then she’ll probably be unique.

Personally, I think it depends on the other characters. If we are going to cut Inklings or Peach, there isn't much point of keeping Captain Falcon or Jigglypuff.

Yea I've thought this, it basically confirms they can't be the same person.

Which to me is more suspicious and implies the faker based the pic on the leak or was even the original poster, but that's just my oppinion it really doesn't change much. I think you can change the display name of a friend in your contacts, but you can't change your own Snapchat name itself.

Quality over Quanitity, would you rather have a bunch of female characters nobody ever heard of for the sake of a quota? Would be rather token.. Theres already Samus, Zelda, Peach, Bayo.. Some of the greatest female characters in gaming and also Peach.

This is why the first thing they tell you on jury duty is that it's not your job to try and figure out some alternate answer. Nice Fan fiction. But the guy is around 50 and not 70. And he presumably works with cad programs on a daily basis. He seems to be some sort of designer who would spend the most time of his job on a computer. Do you really think he would not know how to set a password?

I'm definitely not saying ONLY the OG12 matter, but simply that by virtue of being in from the very beginning, people still know and love these characters. Captian Falcon, Ness, and Jigglypuff are a part of modern pop culture by virtue of their perfect attendance records in Smash, even if their series have gone dormant, or they're not as prominent in them as they once were.
