Frog dance routine when they turn around. In other words, any notion of subtly/discreetness would be BTFO, making them instantly discovered.

Easy.

It's not a matter of which specific Pokemon is in Smash as much as it's getting a new Pokemon rep period. Everyone acts like it's an unwritten rule that every Smash game gets a new Pokemon, so if a leak were to contradict that, people would adamantly defend what they were told. In this case, Incineroar is who many sources are standing behind.

I don't think that there is a rival theme. A third of the revealed characters are rivals, which is 3. Brawl had four (five if you count Sonic as a rival to Mario).

Shadow is probably getting Super Shadow. I've seen a lot of Jinjonator talk for Banjo, but I think we might get something else, like Jiggy Rain or a cutscene attack.

IDK about most of the others. I guess Isaac can do one of those Djinn things, or Mach Rider can get a Blue Falcon-esque FS, but otherwise...?

Ah, I've thought about Jinjonator! Interesting, and kind of cool, that other people have had similar thoughts about that. While it would be more B-K to probably witness something like a deluge of different moves be performed, or maybe even a mega transformation cutscene, like the T-Rex transformation, a la Ganondorf Final Smash - I think Jinjonator is a pretty good Finishing Move type of special attack. Try to catch opponents with a swiftly-appearing Jinjonator statue rising out of the floor, cut to a brief cutscene atop Gruntilda's tower where Jinjos power up the thing in full, before it flies from its perch to knock opponents off of the tower parapets.

This stuff is quite fun to think about.

Smash trophies are full of incorrect info. One of them said Kaptain k.rool was king k.rool's brother. They're just wrong sometimes.

I don't really have any investment in whatever conversation you're having, but melee trophies really aren't reliable.

You don't understand about Mach rider, I read at Source Gaming during the conversation by Sakurai Masahiro talked about Mach Rider:

Mach Rider: “Q: …which character would you personally want to see– or want to put in– to Smash 2?

Given that his response is clearly a joke (or at least made in a joking manner) it’s pretty clear that Mach Rider was never really considered and was momentarily considered and quickly dismissed.

So, just a general thought.

I've seen the sentiment that the leak is likely real due to the layers it has. Be the leak real or fake, I think there are people out there who will probably be taking notes. Those inspired to make a fake leak in the future will want to look at this whole thing. They know the sort of things people use to try to debunk something. They'll know the sort of detective work and trails people follow. The pieces for what make a leak effective or talked about can be found here. "Oh, the Grinch leak got traction because of the inclusion of the new movie merch. I should put a small and "random" detail in mine as well!" "Hm, I need to add some kind of professionalism. I could allude to a random company, maybe a foreign one to avoid easy communication."

They can look at the "holes" too. Either choose to avoid making the same "mistakes" as past fake leaks, or perhaps allow them just so it does create doubt and buzz and conversation. "I'll omit a detail, then that'll get people to argue back and forth, really fire things up."

Like, I'm not saying anything about this leak being real or fake. I'm juts saying that in the future, we could see leaks that try to mimic the bits that help make this one such a big deal. Just a thought about how past leaks or this one could be used as a road map.

I think this also really hints at why I think people should exercise more skepticism about the leak's legitimacy. One of the talking points that have convinced a lot of people (and is honestly fairly convincing), is that there are a lot of details in the leak that would have required the leaker to consider a lot of small details. Considering how big the game is and how much hype it's generated, I don't think it's unreasonable that there are people who would go to really great lengths, to the point that it's even self-detrimental, in order to get such a large number of people stirred up.

While Mach Rider has not gained a true sequel, many elements from the game, such as the futuristic setting, incredibly high speeds, and aggressive racing have also been used in Nintendo's premier racing series F-Zero, making it somewhat of a spiritual sequel to Mach Rider. Even the title character of Mach Rider bears some similarity to the hero of the F-Zero series, Captain Falcon. (Because both characters are different)

This was the most gratuitous thing I've ever seen and I loved it.

Not only does Iris launch enemies into the sun, it also heals the entire party fully, reviving anyone who's dead in the process.

It's the reward for completing both games 100% (well, mostly, you get it for getting all the Djinn across both games and beating Lost Age's super boss).

Naturally, once you have it, there's nobody to use it against (because if you beat the Super Boss, you can probably beat the Final Boss). Like with most final RPG rewards, to be honest.

The other top Summons in the first game are Meteor, Thor and Boreas.

Yes, the Water element summon is a giant Ice Shaver.
Don't let the Thor gif fool you, in the actual game he electrocutes the enemies for way longer. XD

Also, one of the summons is Eclipse, a giant Dragon (who according to the game's description, has wings that span the skies).

Which is why I've been arguing the owner of the work station probably isn't the leaker. It'd be totally different if this was someone's home but it's a work space within a company, adding significant ramifications that a personal workspace wouldn't. This is why this is significantly different from Omni's Rayman. I'm pretty sure Omni did his at home, or at the very least didn't openly show it was at his work if it was. Fake or real, the workplace is held in compliance because of the attention it has garnered, which is why they made a public statement. Omni's Rayman didn't have these legal implications.

It means nothing though as the copyright for the mother games was not listed on the box for smash 4. The copyrights could be there for the characters on the box.
