I'm not sure myself, but there someone who suddenly manage to have a WIP of the Battlefield background being cleaned up...
Either it's an Artist who try to show that it's not impossible to fake this.
Or it's indeed what was used to make that leak

I dunno. I'm confused. But suddenly a WIP of an empty battlefield appearing makes me feel weird

I think practically everything in this leak technically "could" be faked, but I don't think it was. Overall, the work, planning, and attention to detail would be staggering, and honestly, I don't see it happening.
The amount of work that would have to be put into this to be theoretically fake, only for it to be posted on a French snapchat, seems a little ridiculous.

Basically he was overly harsh and came off as a real conceited ass. He's quick to slap things down and act all smug about it. It was only after the guy came forward honestly about it and offered to teach people that he went "oh uhhhhhh sorry i guess"

There are rumors of two directs in November, so you could easily have 5 characters in the smash one and 2 in the nintendo one or whatever that ends up being. Even then, 7 in one direct isn't impossible, they can make the direct however long they want.

If the Direct becomes one hour, the whole Smashboards will crash

This is new for me, the Brawl leak was supported by this kind of people back then. I don't know what to think, like with the box theory we are in a dead end till more news.

Are we still arguing about whether they faked the Grinch stuff? It’s been confirmed he works for an ad agency. That still doesn’t mean the Smash stuff is real, as they could fake that (no need to fake the Grinch). But it also makes it plausible for someone to leak Smash (though there are other concerns, like Nintendo handling most of the marketing materials).

Hmm not true.
Bayo 3 was revealed there along with BOTW's DLC.
If the DLC is related to DQ like what LeakyPandy is suggesting, then that's a bit weird (seeing how Japanese focused that reveal would be) though.

To be fair Nintendo has been doing TGA reveals for years now. We got Zelda DLC and Bayo 3 last year, for example.

Shovel Knight rumor era was a ****show though lol no arguments there.

Yeah they revealed stuff.

But nintendo does not show smash outside of their own events. Hence when evo doesn't get reveals, or whatever other con. Not to mention a 3rd party character I definitely don't see getting revealed out of nowhere like that. Nintendo keeps smash to their own events. We only see them branch out with other games, while Smash stays protected and marketed as they see fit.

So a smash reveal outside of a Nintendo event just screams fake to me. We've heard people try and say these things time and time again. But nothing happens, because nintendo doesn't change their viewpoints on how to handle smash.
