It's real, but.. I don't know if I'd get too excited yet.

This is likely nothing. It depends on when these three games were added to the site.

Fairly sure they're adding Nintendo games to the site overall, whether or not they're games they own, it's games they've released at some point for their consoles.

I mean, it makes sense to double up on franchises like Fire Emblem, Mega Man, and Castlevania, as well as presumably Pokémon once Incineroar drops. All of them are franchises known for their soundtracks.

It's not so much that "music theory" being dead is what I'm sad about, it's more that some of the other well-deserving franchises like Xenoblade might not get a music update because they do repeats...

While I'd love it to mean something, I've heard it's been on the site for years.

Still, it's a nice reminder to those who don't think of Banjo & Kazooie as being Nintendo characters that they were and still are in some ways outside of strictly legal ownership, and those hurdles are a lot less impossible now than they were 5-10 years ago.

Nintendo refreshing their website and posting about some older games might indicate one of many things, among but not exclusively are:

A) HE'S IN OMG HYPE 10/10
B) They're refreshing the titles of older games because they may want to refer to some in the future and be ready for things like the N64 Mini,
C) it's them fleshing out their website with older titles.

Seriously though, I doubt this means anything at all. But does anyone remember the old Nintendo website, with its "microsites" for many of their games that had interactable things? I fondly remember one for Pikmin where you could find a Pikmin on each page...I think. It's been 16 years. Brb Waybacckmachine-ing that.

It's really nothing at all.

The games list just has games that were released on a Nintendo console at some point.
Including those that were on the N64. It doesn't mean anything's coming.

I could be wrong, I'll definitely be happy to eat my words... At best? It points to 64 Mini.
Realistically? . . . Probably nothing.

Yeah...I'm gonna go ahead here and say a Direct probably ain't happening until November at this point. I feel like if it was gonna be this month, we would've gotten an announcement by now.

I mean, It could still happen around the 31st I suppose, but I kinda doubt it. I'm calling first full week of November now. If they wait even longer than that? Well, leaks will probably spoil everything anyway by then.
