I'm pretty sure Alexis Tipton voices her now. Laura Bailey kinda quit imported stuff. Apparently dubs pay way less than Western-made stuff.

Lucina is still voiced by Laura in Smash Ultimate (through Smash 4 voice clips), but everywhere else Tipton voices her

Ultimate uses 4's voice lines for Lucina. In basically everything else, Alexis Tipton took over the role.

Though it kinda sucks because that essentially confirms she doesn't have any victory quotes for Chrom.

PS all stars wanted to copy the smash formula without realizing what makes Smash Bros what it is. I mean i want to see a sequel still to see if they learned what that is but.

What it should have been was a celebration of Playstation as a brand as much as the original Smash Bros was that for Nintendo..

The whole fusion stage thing should have been left on the drawing board honestly, while its fun to see a giant loco roco crush the metal gear ray, the stages shoulda been solo love letters to what they represented. And should have had alot more interactive elements too. The Meter building thing could have worked, PS All stars could have been for Super Meters what Smash is for Ring Outs. The Roster is the BIGGEST crime though. ALOT of focus on what was out on ps3 AT THE TIME, but not too many of what got them there in the first place. Sure Sly, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank were there but where were Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Cloud Strife, Lara Croft, Alucard, or Mr Domino... I also think having a homeless Hipster dbag running around pretending to be Dante instead of the actual Dante who built the PS2's playerbase was also a big mistake. No issues with the inclusion of Heihachi and Raiden but Big Daddy had no business in that game period. I mean i love me some Bioshock, Half my time on the internet is unironically quoting Andrew Ryan, but it is far more an Xbox/PC game than a Playstation Icon. Then theres the Minions, Relegating characters as skins for annoying little mascots instead of giving them real inclusion as Assists of any sort or even just stage cameos... is massively stupid. And then theres the Final Boss. I mean Cool Reference and all to the old commercials, but Polygon Man is as Bland as there ever is, and is Either the Easiest fighting game boss ever or annoying as **** depending on which character you use. Oh and there was no real attempts to balance the roster. Kratos is if Bayo and Brawl Meta had a baby and they wanted to KEEP it that way.


But yeah if they ever announce a sequel maybe the second times the charm?

Man **** that **** what about Darkest Lariat eating shields like Shadow Ball does? That'd be sick! Oh and canceling the rotation would be good if the situation is unsafe.

Considering Darkest Lariat is supposed to ignore stat changes, eating shields would be great :V.

Honestly I can't imagine us getting Octolings as an echo if it's the Splatoon design. Like were those designs ever even popular???

I know people really like the Splatoon 2 Octoling design so at most, and it's unlikely, I could see Sakurai working in a late echo addition. But I don't see why he would make an echo based off of an enemy unit...

Interesting question for everyone:
Are there any veteran characters that you might consider maining in Ultimate, despite barely touching them before, because changes in their moves or changes in game mechanics/physics?

For example:
: The removal of the stamina mechanic, as well as the faster speed of the game overall, (and I’m not 100% on this but some moves might’ve changed?) makes me want to try to pick up specifically Squirtle or Ivysaur, with both seeming to be fun to play as, considering the fact I usually play quick and fairly light (not too light) characters.

, because taunt cancelling will make her OP.

In the same way that Greninja's smash moves are just water inspired ninja moves rather than actual Pokemon moves, I totally think Incineroar can use tables and chairs for his Smash attacks. So? Greninja never had water swords in the games...
It wouldn't be too out of the question to have Incineroar using tables and chairs, especially since an image of him hitting a Pokemon with a table was part of that leaked confidential artwork

I think is mostly there are people in here with too much time in their hands and they fill with just a speculation about this game. I assume that most people in here are youngsters between 15-20ish which would explain how you get so much free time.
