As someone who was a part of those silly debates, agreed. They were 9 times out of 10 way too heated on both sides and honestly contributed very little to the thread IMO.

This, however, is fun, and the reason I come here. Getting excited over things you like is fun. I'm alright with dreaming and hyping every once and awhile.

I'm still convinced we're on the edge of a precipice here. Rumors of a Direct have been everywhere as of late, the menu theme of Smash Ultimate being released has got to mean something in the near future, and if the game hasn't gone gold yet, it will pretty soon. I'm gonna say the hype is warranted. Something is still definitely on the horizon.

Guys, the press stuff can mean 2 things obviously. Leaks may happen soon since press were exposed to content and the game is gold. And a direct may happen soon since press got a view of smash content
