I honestly don't know. I played the "Sega Hard Girls" game and found out it was apparently a spin-off of a much larger series starring a purple haired anime girl who's also god, or something.

It's got like ten titles I think.

Does it really matter if any of the image leaks are real right now, though? We have no way of proving any of them thanks to this guy saying he doesn't even know which one, just that "One is totally real guys!"

I'm not saying he's lying, but there's nothing saying he's telling the truth, either. IMO, it's wise to be skeptical of all leakers and rumor spreaders regardless of track record, so I'm gonna go ahead and ignore this one personally. Besides, we're a month and half out from release with the final batch of info most likely coming very soon. For me personally, I'm content to just wait it out for the final Direct. To each their own, though.

I mean, he has never seen any picture; in that case, he knows of the leak only by words, right?
If he knows it by words, the person who told him about the leak would have either:
-said the name of the character
or
-say no names.
In case he heard of the name of the character, he shouldn't have any doubt about it, unless the source is not reliable, and in that case you can't exclude Ken because it can still be.
In case they never told him the name, it can still be Ken, unless they said him "a leak is real but is not the Ken one", which is extremely unlikely.

So this situation is a bit strange...
Maybe he knows the name but simply doesn't want to tell it to avoid getting in trouble, or it's all fake, IMO.

I do get the feeling that something's going to come in the next week.
Something's stirring; we are getting closer and closer to early November which is when news should logically be at the latest. This rumor's coming out. Stuff is slowly pouring.

Hoping to god it isn't a DQ rep over Geno lol though it likely will be.

The one big problem I see with Dragon Quest getting in at all is if Sugiyama will be willing, and unfortunately, I don't see that happening at all.
With such a stranglehold and a mindset he has, I just can't see him allowing his BEAUTIFUL WOKS OF ART /s in Smash Bros.

I think that those particular games mentioned probably sacrifice too much story in favour of sexual content, which is honestly my main problem with them. I don't actually have any issue with the sexual content itself, though. I feel like most people can distinct between uguu-eyed anime girls and real life, and most of those who can't won't be interacting with actual women any time soon anyway.

Knew about Google, Steam stuff and Nintendo's Fall-line up, but instead of passing it as "WE TOTALLY KNOW IT LEGIT GUYS" they're careful about their wording and show them as "Rumor" "there noise about" and "We heard stuff about"

Like here, where they're DEFINITELY implying about the VGA announcement

I don't see how Shi holds any double standards in regard to your burqa quip and there is a HUGE difference between what is done with the high-school aged Senren Kagura girls and what is done with Bayonetta, which I feel is pretty obvious.
Please take a step back and try to understand our perspective.

I think Elma is more likely than people think. Xenoblade is a growing IP, and I think Elma would be a good pick a as a new Xenoblade rep, as Xenoblade to me is very likely to get a newcomer. Plus the Mech Bot Sakuari uses for modeling could be used for Elma's Mech. Keyword being could.

Ask for DQ rep, well simply put it might be the most logical choice for a SE rep. DQ is HUGE in Japan. It's like the holy grail of JPRGS over there, so I wouldn't be suprised if Saks adds a DQ protagonist in Smash.

Wait, SEGA Hard Girls is a spin-off of Hyperdimension Neptunia? Isn't that series made by Compile Heart (a.k.a. the former owners of Puyo Puyo)?

• All of Nintendo's fall line-up, including Diablo III Eternal Collection, Warframe, the timing of these games alongside Pokemon, Let's Go! Pikachu/Eevee, etc.
• Knowing about New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe before pundits like Liam Robertson or Emily Rogers
• In the know about Google's gaming prospects with Project Steam, a prospect where you can play games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey on a browser
• The original September Nintendo Direct broadcast date
• Catherine making a comeback with Catherine: Full-Body

They've only said that there'll be a DLC reveal at The Game Awards, but that's about it.

He's also not sure who the character is as he says he has ideas (which rules out them saying the character by name) but can't say how he knows it's not Ken because it's "Based on things I am not at liberty to divulge" (which is a suspicious way to phrase it, this isn't a courtroom).
