The new theory is Cringe Theory: Whatever is the most ridiculous becomes true. The door hits you on the way out and you die instantly. Shrek gets confirmed just to take your picture. You don't buy the game because you let other people dictate your idea of what is and isn't good.

I'm with you. Mimikyu is my boy, but I'm a wrestling nut through and through and I loved the Litten line from the moment I saw them. I want a wrestler in Smash, whether it's Starman, Rhythm Wrestler, or Incineroar, and my love of the Malicious Moonsault makes me giddy for that fire cat.

If I had to pick one,Why are people so dramatic about forums? It just seems really easy to ignore the strawgrasping. I just skim past conversations I'm not interested in, and look to see if any interesting leaks are being discussed. Doesn't bother me that there are a lot of younger fans on this forum who want their character to be in (no offense to the younger ones, but a lot of you DO use weird/strawgrasping logic to try and make your character seem viable, but I don't blame you for it).
I really wish I would stop seeing these posts about how bad this thread is, or about how bad the fans on this forum are every 5 pages. Those annoy me a lot more than the weird on topic conversations we get into.
Let's just have fun. I'll say it again: If you don't like the current conversation, try to change it!

"Objectively" is kind of a strong word.
I usually dont use starters on my Pokemon team, mostly because I wanted my trainer in Ultra Sun to be a Team Flare grunt... Yeah, I think Decidueye is somewhat imo, probably because of his shiny that got him overrated.
Probably Toon Link, should have just been Young Link instead since Melee.. I don't know, I think he'll be better than Roy, but it'll take more than a levelled blade for him to catch up to Marth, Lucina and Corrin, who all look to still be in a good place. I'm not exactly sure his recovery will even be better than Roy's either, it's extremely linear, which is pretty bad now that edgeguarding is a thing again. We'll also have to see how Ike fares in this game after his many buffs, but my bet is on him being better than Roy/Chrom.

"Added instead" is literally objectively wrong. They couldn't make a unique and interesting Zelda character just by not adding a clone.
Agumon is the mascot. Originally it was Tyranomon. I find it unfortunate that this has changed. This cute, little big clumsy Dinosaur have to get more attention.(^^) But it is not WarGreymon.

quartet exists. Honestly, I would've preferred Lucina being an alt and Chrom being an Echo. is a close second. She didn't win the ballot like everyone who defended her said she did, she's extremely raunchy and niche, and it's clear that she was another "advertisement character", just like Corrin was.
