If something happened, more than two people would have gotten it for sure. I'm 99% positive it's a heckin' bamboozle. A speckledorf, if you will.

I just find it verrrrrrrrrrry odd that only two people out of hundreds if not thousands would have seen it.

I mean, with the combination of the possiblity of Youtube's broken subscription feeds and Nintendo deleting it super fast, maybe alot of people saw it but don't go on the Smash reddit? Have there been people freaking out anywhere besides the Smash Reddit?

They're not going to put up a Smash Ultimate Direct (or any Direct) without a date in its title, it'd get easily confused with the other one. Which, incidentally, has the date in its title and on its thumbnail.

Well, all you have to do is find one of the other videos listed. Such as the PBG one, and see what the date is on them

So I'm pretty sure at least 5 of ya'll have OCs of some kind, whether you wanna admit it or not. Without explaining the character themselves beyond their name, give a brief description of how their moveset would theoretically work in a Smash game. Would they be a semiclone of an existing character? Would they have a fancy gimmick to make 'em stand out from the rest of the crowd? Would they just be a Mii Fighter with some adjustments? Or maybe they'd be a mishmash of 2-5 characters?

Especially since that one character was a semi-clone and had the most underwhelming reveal trailer in Smash history.

I think i saw your reply on that twitter saying "I'm not going to throw shade at you, but an 'organized effort' wouldn't be the first time this has happened in this cycle of speculation.", or at least I think that was you, but regardless, I agree, this could EASILY be an organized effort, just like that dumb pretending leaker we got not so long ago pretending to "have the demo" and such and gave "evidence" of clips of snake taunting and such and it was just multiple accounts making themselves the questions and answering them lol, good times… But yeah anyway, this could easily be organized effort, and if not, it would be exploding for way more people imo, and even on other websites too. I won't bite with this one unless it's actually announced, and either way, i'm already expecting something maybe this next week because of the update on the playlist thing on youube and the "new" banner being removed, which already indicated the 17th to be the possible date. We'll see…

The "Link" he provided that would take him to said livestream takes you to a deleted Game Grumps video instead.

He banked on the "Blank Youtube Layout" for a deleted video to fool people, but people were able to figure out what the link really was.

This 100%, same for echoes. In Smash 4 it always bothered me that they didn't just give the echoes one of the custom moves as standard. It still bothers me with Ultimate.
