Lord. Seeing some of you people acting like that just a little bit ago reminded me just why I've left this place. Why I've grown to hate this fandom. Why I've come to preferring the toxicity of other fandoms with seemingly no end in sight to dealing with this fandom's toxicity for more than five minutes.

Granted, that's to be expected from a fandom about a crossover as big as this. Numerous people from numerous other fandoms with numerous ideologies are bound to result in some sort of dynamic, yet toxic clash. But what I've just seen? That wasn't just bad. That was about one of the most toxic things I've ever witnessed. It almost made me wonder if I was on a website about some video game, or if I was in the darkest pit of hell.

Numerous people from both ends were acting head*** and hypocritical as hell. I'm not going to point out names, mostly because it'd probably take all day. But those people really need to learn to get off their high horse and quit acting like brats over something like this. Quit pretending their side is the only right side and defend it to the grave. And I understand hypocrisy is a nigh (if not then definitely) unavoidable flaw of human nature, but with a lot of the stuff that goes around here, I can only say that I'm disturbing astonished. You people say "don't do x or y!!!" but then you do x and y anyways, and usually to a bigger extreme than when you complain about it. Nevermind the fact you never admit that you were wrong or hypocritical.

Anyways, for those who weren't being toxic, sorry you had to see that drama. For those who were, well, you might not even recognize who you are, and I'd be shocked if you did, but you need to stop being so damn toxic. Even when I was at my most toxic, I'd probably be acting better than what you were.

Anyways, I'm going away again. Likely for good, at least until some people start shaping up.

Well, it's understandable that people would want a break from the drama that had happened. Though, I kind of feel like bringing that drama back up again isn't the best thing to do... We're all enjoying ourselves drama-free at the moment, and I think what happens now matters more.

But feel free to bring up the Chinese bots spamming in Korean to Japanese adult sites. Actually, forget I mentioned it.

As far as characters who fit the Halloween theme go, I think Skull Kid is a bit of a stretch. He's definitely creepy, but I wouldn't say he fits that stereotypical "ghosts, vampires, and werewolves" Halloween.

Simon and the Castlevania series is absolutely everything a Halloween character could dream of being. If Nintendo wanted a special character to fit the Halloween bill, Simon would've been their guy, hands down.

I dont know a lot anout Pokemon, but Gardevoir would be cool I guess. The time is kinda over for Gen 3 though. If we didnt get Squirtle, Ivy, and Pichu back there couldve been a slight chance, but I think the stars are alligning for Tony the Tiger and thats it. Probably a gen 8 mon for dlc too.

Because at this point, I don't think we're getting a Direct until we're done with alllllllll the new items/assists/Pokemon from 8.8

Sorry if this is a bit late, but I was taking the time to look over this myself, and I noticed a few interesting details regarding the missing ones. As of now, there are still a fair amount of items that could still be discussed, but it's still quite possible that we could get a Direct before the month ends, if only because of a few notable quirks. Here's the remaining potential blog count concerning items:

Six new items, with one announced back at the E3 Direct:
6.12 - Healing Field
8.8 - Banana Gun, Killing Edge, Rage Blaster, Ramblin' Evil Mushroom and Staff

Three Pokémon, all from the 8.8 Direct:
Ditto, Marshadow and Pyukumuku

And with Zero's reveal as of tonight, we now have Four Assist Trophies, with one announced back at the E3 Direct:
6.12 - Burrowing Snagret
8.8 - Chef Kawasaki, Klaptrap and Nikki

What was interesting to me is that we haven't even gotten a blog post concerning both the Healing Field and Burrowing Snagret. I think this shows it is possible to not go through every new item that was shown off in the 8.8 Direct before our next (and most likely final) infodrop occurs in the near future. Whether this is by the end of the month or even the first week of November, I have a sneaking feeling that not every item from 8.8 will have a proper blog post before our final Direct.

Who seriously gives a **** if music, blog, box, chairs, whatever theory is right? We have less than two months to go until the game comes out, and by then, NO ONE except the most petty of individuals are going to give a **** about fan-crafted theories.

I.. i don't think so... maybe. Go check the Gardevoir support thread, there's no 'creepy fans' there... the Gardevoir fanbase is one of the most chill and respectful. But maybe you've encountered some ill mannered Gardevoir fans... if so i would advise not generalizing some bad behavior to the whole fanbase.

Actually, Japan is pretty big with Halloween as of late. Just in a different way from us. They still do that pumpkins and spooky scary thing, but they're more all about cosplaying and whatnot than trick or treating.

Toss in the fact that Nintendo has been doing Halloween themed/based events as of late with certain games.

Not only is that foolish because, let’s face it, it’s an Internet forum for a video game, but it just doesn’t contribute anything. Like, if something bothers you and you want to do something about it/change it, the solution is not to tell people they’re dumb or that you don’t like them as a community. That just makes it worse.

We’ve got about a month and a half left of this nonsense, and even less until we firmly know the final roster. We’ll probably know the base roster within 2 weeks (imo), so once that’s over with it’ll only be a matter of time until DLC talk ramps up.

Maybe it’s because last time I was big into speculation, I was a freshman/sophomore in college. Now I have a full time job, so I don’t have as much time. But when things got boring, you find other things to do to take up the time.

Today, i’ve read pages of comments that consist of, “PLZ I NEED A DIRECT”. No, you don’t need a Direct right this instant, you need something to distract you from wanting a Direct right this instant. That’s the only thing that is in your control.

Read a book. Play and beat a game in your backlog. Do homework. Write a fanfic. Or take a walk. Do something that will make your mind go elsewhere, and I promise you it will get easier.

Granted I also am constantly doing crap that I don’t necessarily always want to do, but that also helps. Like I can’t even believe we’re about a month and a half away. It seems like yesterday was the August Direct, yet it’s been so long.
