All third parties in Smash aren't console exclusive whereas Chief is same with Mario and Kratos.

Not that I'm in support of Chief being playable (I would be indifferent to his inclusion), but you guys really need to stop creating so many patterns and excuses for why characters can't get in. You did the same with Cloud before his confirmation by saying he represents Square breaking up with Nintendo and making a game for a Sony console. Master Chief is still very unlikely, but you can't instantly throw him out of the running yet.

To be fair, as great and popular as Shovel Knight may be, he lacks history with Nintendo, being a fairly recent character. Still, I would've wanted him in.

And one of the last times console exclusives and smash got together, Bayonetta was birthed and Bayonetta 3 became a Switch Exclusive.

Greatness and popularity got Cloud, who's far more irrelevant to Nintendo than SK in, though, no?

That or Michael J. Fox is responsible for all fake Smash Bros leaks.

All these stock/no items/no hazards matches from The Big House are pretty nice. It's really just too bad 95%+ of them are on Town and City or Battlefield; it's like no one even cares to check what the handful of actually unknown stages even do without hazards...

I don't have the footage, but I played a match on green greens and it removed all the blocks and the wind. It was a completely viable stage.

It's ridiculous to compare Cloud's popularity to Shovel Knight's. Cloud is significantly far more popular and well known. Cloud isn't necessarily irrelevant to Nintendo either, as he's an extremely iconic Final Fantasy character.

With all fairness, Shovel Knight didn't even get any special treatment on the switch or Wii U, while on the Xbox and Playstation he got some special equipment and console exclusive crossover boss fights.

In the comparison between Shovel Knight and Shantae it should be noted that Shantae took off like a rocket overseas in japan where Shovel Knight... was more like a lead balloon. So its entirely possible that Muh King of Indies is just an assist where as Shantae can be playable. Honestly id have liked to have both but gun to my head im going with I dream of Half Genie.
