xD Some more old as heck doodles I need to remake. I remember putting a gold material over Ridley's Brawl model out of boredom, and it made me imagine him in Mario Kart alongside the soulless Pink Gold Peach and Metal Mario.

A small part of me hates Ridley being revealed so soon; as my most wanted newcomer I have been longing for that moment for AGES, now that it's past I am concentrating on my next most wanted, Mr. Skull Kid. If he is not in, I fear I'll feel dissapointed, even though I am more than aware that this game is giving me waaaay too much and it's kinda selfish of me to feel like that. If Ridley would have been kept for the last reveal, I wouldn't have had time to shift to Skull Kid, and hence, he would have felt as a last gift.


Like I said, only a small part of me. The other bigger part is entirely happy with this roster and game and honestly would pay money in a kickstarter campaign for a community's gift for Sakurai at this point.

That's how spoiled I feel by Nintendo/how much I want Skull Kid.

Well, first of all Skull Kid is standing straight up which just looks ****ing ridiculous by any account.

Agreed. I mean it looks bad regardless (he looks like he's about to do the lean from Smooth Criminal- fitting, as Majora's Incarnation does the Moonwalk), but you'd expect Skull Kid to be floating or hunched over as an idle pose if he was actually in. That Skull Kid and Bandana Waddle Dee 'leak' on Poke Floats 2 at least had some effort put into it.

There is no event going on right now.
It's early November, that twitter post was just saying signups have ended.

But the whole reason echoes exist is that they don't require balancing. If his specials and/or stats are different, that would require additional work.

None of them have different weight from their originals? Though I was thinking swapping out the standard moves for Customs would obviously take some work. It's a pipe dream sort of deal at the moment anyways, as far as Echoes go.

No, I was asking if any of the current echoes had different weights like Daisy or Richter or something. Protoman potentially being lighter weight would fit his playstyle in MM9 and MM10 since he takes twice as much knockback as Mega Man.

I don't know if any current echoes had some different stats or not. But it would fit with the likes of Melee clones like Ganon and Young Link.

I'll argue that Smash4 was the worst. Between the slow ass reveal of veterans and newcomers, the salt machine that some created, the Gematsu is true vs Wrong and Smash 4 Speculation automatically is the worst thanks to the ballot Era/DLC where people were just ****ting on each others favorite expected DLC and it basically became a political things as if we were voting for our president.


Here the speculation is simple. Everyone is here. After the game reveal we can only be surprised, Vergeben or not, the only dumb things are the Music theory, Box Theory and whatnot...

Who at least have some sort of logic compared to PACMAN IS IN THE CLOUD! RIDLEY IS PLAYABLE HE GRABBED PIKACHU!! K.ROOL WON THE BALLOT! WOLF IS A LOCK FOR DLC **** ROY!!!!


Like, Jesus, the only bad part is the drought. But at least we ain't having dumb argument beside "Muh Geno is IRELEPHANT!" and "DISNEY ARE NAZIS CORPORATE !" Or "Muh box"

I took Captain America’s advice and started rewatching some previous events and gameplay, strangely calming my hype.

Alright, just had to make sure. It's been a while since I looked at any of the main Smash Ultimate videos. It'd be more accurate to say I'd want Protoman/Roll/Bass handled like Falco or Luigi then. Mostly similar moves with different states.

Probably. Though it's not like any major rumors mention her, unlike Ken.

Overall, echoes do tend to have the same stats. But it's usually minor seemingly insignificant differences-- Such as Lucina's moves having the same damage output regardless of range, and Marth's tip-- that makes their playstyle different from their source fighter.

100% agreed. I don't know think leaving veterans obscure would work nicely after the whole drama with Wolf and alarming amount of people wanting to cut two thirds of the roster.

DLC period was stressful enough. We can entertain ourselves with bad leaks and forum games until a direct drops.

Any games people are playing to pass the time until Ultimates release? I recently got Terraria on the 3ds and I feel its passing the time fine.

Played through the Ratchet and Clank remake on PS4. It's pretty good still, but I'd say it's worse than the original due to the story being based on the movie, giving Ratchet a different character arc and personality altogether. The soundtrack isn't as good either. But the weapons are fun and leveling them up is satisfying. Beat the regular game and challenge mode on Hard mode too.

Currently, no.
The blog post stated DSamus was floatier, but they meant that literally in terms of animation style.

Imagine if Sakurai had a bit of a sadistic side, and only revealed characters like they have through the blog. (Maybe having E3 at least reveal the original 12 (Since they're starters) along with Inkling and Ridley (Daisy not yet because Peach wouldn't have been revealed yet). Making us think this is a reboot but in fact everyone is here, but we wouldn't know that until closer to the release of the game.

No because the entire purpose of Ultimate is "Everyone is here". That is the hook of the game so no...
