-Any Rhythm Heaven Rep (assuming they are not in base)

-Crash Bandicoot (If Steve gets in base, he can open up the door for more western third parties, And Crash is up there among the most likely ones)
-Edelgard
-Min Min (She's my fav ARMS Character)

Go find a small detail about a character you like. It can a gameplay change, a new visual tweak, or even a sound effect you like. If for some reason there's nothing new that you love about that character, then mention something you loved about them in Smash 4.

I adore Ridley's redesign in general for this game; it's so terrifyingly alien and at the same time, so familiar in a lot of ways. His Xenomorph inspiration is a lot more clear through his design and he's more realistically detailed, but he still looks like Ridley. I especially appreciate how, while they do use Super as a base, he's sort of a mishmash of Ridley's incarnations throughout the series.

On that same note, I really like what they did to make Dark Samus different from Samus via animations and design, really invoking the uncanny valley and showcasing very well just how alien she really is.

Bayonetta is confirmed to have the same amount of music as it did in Smash 4... (also, adding another Bayonetta would make the metagame even worse)
Also, having a another KI rep in could make people accuse Skaurai of Bias (Though I would love a Viridi or Medusa Echo. But if we're talking any KI rep, I want Hades...)

Rhythm Heaven rep.
It keeps being overshadowed by Isaac as the potential new Nintendo Franchise Representation, Despite the Fact that RH is still going to this day (Unlike Golden Sun...). You don't just get in if you have insane Fan support... being relevant probably helps your chances even more. (Also, I heard that Sakurai likes RH so...)
Besides, an RH rep would have so much potential... Using different Items and Characters from the different rhythm games in the series, having a rhythm based mechanic, and Imagine all of the Potential music...
Yes, I obsess about RH too much, sorry about that...

-Make their jumps uniform: Yeah and just take away what makes either one of them unique, really? Ribbion girl is about double jumping and air mobility Springman is not.

-Give her Parry and Rage mechanics: Why? Would you give Chairzard lightning?

-Give her the same base equipment: Again Why? She CAN have the same base equipment as Springman in game but her starting kit is too a defining trait.

So yeah you can't do that. Please just look at the ARMS wikia its not that hard.

Twintelle’s probably more practical though since she’s the most popular, and also has human arms in addition to her hair ARMS, which would balance her moveset more

I can, Sakurai gave Simon Richter's moves from SotN even though he never used any of those. Ribbon Girl has the same basic model structure and gimmick(long ass arms) as Spring Man. She's literally the Ken to Spring Man's Ryu. A higher jump and two mechanics that wouldn't be out of place are not a roadblock for an Echo.
And I won't even comment on the customizable equipment because that's just stilly.

Y'all are forgetting the best ARMS girl, Min Min. Having a punch only moveset would be very boring, luckilly, Min Min's got you covered, Her Kicks and Dragon ARM can bring a lot to the table compared to other ARMS reps.

Twintelle is also the developer's fav so I could see it though most likely Springman would get top billing because he's the Ryu of them game.

Actually, pretty sure the Developer (Assuming you're Referring to Mr. Yabuki) said his favorite was Min Min. the only person at Nintendo we know of that likes Twintelle, seems to be The Regginator himself.

We have a literal echo in ARMS of Springman called Springtron

He has everything Springman (They're equipment is even linked so when someone gets a glove the other gets the same glove ) has the only thing that 's different is that he shoot an EMP that works like disable.

Ribbon Girl is about as much "the Ken" as Isabelle was.

At the end of the day, it's Sakurai deciding who works fine as what.

I mean, Dark Samus is an echo and I think everyone here knows she's more than a little different than Samus.

Dark Samus being more similar to Samus than in their own games makes sense in the context of Smash, as most of what the former would do that would make her unique would be difficult to translate into gameplay (mainly cloning herself, becoming invulnerable/deflecting attacks, indefinite flight, etc.). Her longer range projectiles that she did as an assist trophy would work if they were implemented like a quasi-Mii Gunner hybrid moveset, but obviously that would be far more different/time-consuming to implement and defeats the purpose of being "an easy to add Echo" (Chrom still existing aside). Priorities went elsewhere, which we can't say for sure would be the case if Arms representation got in (presumably as DLC).

I'm at least glad they still added things like the splitting Echo for Dark Samus' victory pose. Samus herself could stand to get more of what she can do in her own games (namely beam switching, Space Jump, Power Bombs and an actual "turn into Morph Ball mode," not even going into Samus Returns stuff like the Melee Counter/Aeion Abilities), but I've accepted Smash has its own quirky version of her kit. At least she isn't Ganondorf.

Honestly, I've been anti-Minecraft for a long time. My younger brother loves the game, and I could not for the life of me understand the fun in it. I rather play with regular Lego. Fortnite? Roblox? Angry Birds? Five Nights at Freddys? It's a new generation. You either hate it, or you love it. We are not forced to play them, and luckily there are still good games being created, and new IP's which we do indeed like, but, as I did not like any of the franchises which I listed, and I know they are popular, I think Steve in Smash is a good thing. There is no denying that he would have a pretty radical, and interesting moveset potential, and it would also appeal to younger generations. Let it be Steve I'd say. At least Minecraft has been around long enough for us to adapt to it's style, and acknowledge it's existence, and even so, if he would be playable, who does it hurt? It will probobly boost sales even more. My brother and his generation get's a win. We just got King K. Rool, Ridley and Simon Belmont. The casuals/moderns got Daisy and Isabelle. I won't die if the "new" generation get's their win. Because of this. Why not. If Steve happens, I'll welcome the guy, but I will totally expect Banjo & Kazooie coming with. No way in hell Banjo won't be there if Microsoft give them Steve, Nintendo knowns, Microsoft knows, and Sakurai sure as hell should know. That's my honest view on Steve, and I'll leave it at that.
