Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

You take a song that's fast paced, zany and powerful and give it instruments that rob all its power.

Back in my day, music INCREASED a characters chances. Why I remember when Ashley's theme made us all think Ashley was in and Go K.K. Rider meant there was an AC character coming...

Not that I agree with the reboot idea for Star Fox Zero, but in their defense, the story got really convoluted after SF Command. And there were adult themes like infidelity and stuff in a game about furry animals being marketed to kids.

I actually loved Command because I'm trash, but I wouldn't want to be tasked with making a sequel to that game. Didn't it have ten different ending possibilities?

It's still a highly energetic track, just a different take on it. One that I appreciate a lot, I love the classical Japanese instruments used.

Pizza Express made the best pizza bases but I prefer Pizza Hut overall.

That said, buying pre-made pizzas isn't the wise option as they are mostly profit margin by weight so it's cheaper to make your own.

I honestly wouldn't mind no Pokémon newcomer this time around. If there isn't any, none of a particular one's fans will be disappointed, that spot can be best saved for a character from any other series or game.

Unless they somehow manage to put up an Echo, which would be extremely odd.

Remember the Brawl days where characters were just announced with no fanfare or anything? Just wake up one morning and bam, there's Sonic on the Smash Dojo.

Since when is Dedede Ver 2 bad?

Sure, it's not as bombastic as Brawl's Dedede theme, but I think Dedede Ver 2 has its own charm to it.

Norfair Brawl kinda sounds like something out of an SMO Bonus stage. Plus I like how funky it is. I don't think I'd call that one bad either.

Smash 4 Cynthia, though, I agree could have used work.

But I'll put my faith in the guy with apparently 4 people telling him something over something that the fans thought up.


It was already 'wrong' when Dark Samus got announced long after her remix, then it got changed to include "NO ECHOES" which I always found stupid.

That's sweet music at least. Glad we get another good Champion remix.

So if you're a music theorist, then I guess no new Pokemon. Which is a hard pill to swallow.

...and as I'm a music theorist, I'm not sure what to think right now.

Music theory aside, this remix is a ****ING JAM.

Like, they took a song that was already a jam, and then stuffed it full of jam to create an even jammier jam??

There’ll be Pokemon fans who will be disappointed that one won’t be added, including but not limited to Incineroar, Decidueye, and Lycanroc supporters.

This gives people some more room to talk at least, without sticking strictly to theories, if the music theory held any water this is potentially really interesting.

However i've never been of the mind it did, so I can't say it affected my own perception much.
