It's a shame about Lilligant in particular, as I rather like it (definitely one of my favorite Gen V Pokémon design-wise). I think it needed the Fairy-typing that Whimsicott was granted, particularly because it was more limited than Whimsicott was in terms of what it could do even in Black & White if I recall correctly. If new megas ever were introduced, Lilligant would be among the ones I'd hope would get one.

I think Lilligant would make for an interesting support-type Poké Ball Pokémon if it made its way into Smash, whether by using Teeter Dance to mess with opponents' controls like the Ramblin' Evil Mushroom, or Quiver Dance to boost your speed and attack while it remains on the field.

Lilligant's one of my favourite Gen V mons, too.

Lilligant's got a lot of potential, because of Quiver Dance, unfortunately it's unable to capitalize on it's potential because of it's atrocious movepool.

Grass types can't all be "Leech Seed > Toxic > Defend until the opponent is dead", Game Freak!

Welp, suddenly the "ekans" living under my porch is seeming a lot less scary now. Actually I haven't seen it in a while, so I maybe that repellent finally worked.

Have a few skorupis, tiny galvantulas and coyotes (does Lycanroc count?) around here as well, but none of them are particularly scary. Coyotes especially tend to be very shy and never get to close.

There were even a few who came in august and abruptly left in November without even notifying thier employer causing lots of trouble and turmoil. That’s the case if it’s Tokyo but rural Japan (where I’ve spent most of my time at) is a whole different story.

I really wish the blog posts would show something different than characters, items, music, and stages. I would love to see more game modes, Final Smash info, and even alt colors and costumes. Blog posts have a Pikachu tag but the only thing there is The a Pikachu gameplay video.

It's funny just how much this spread like wildfire; I can hardly go anywhere on the internet without seeing Bowsette pop up at least once (popped up as a Eurogamer Article on my phone when I was taking a moment to browse while at work today).

Memes spread in the darnedest ways sometimes.

But on the topic of new transformation items, I'm a little surprised we never got the Mega Mushroom or the Mini Mushroom yet in Smash. I could see the Mega Mushroom in particular needing to be balanced though, as that could be quite OP, but I remember thinking it would show up in Smash 4, considering we got the Lightning Bolt in Brawl and the Mega Mushroom was a prominent item in Mario Kart Wii. Kinda interesting to think about though, even if I don't think they will show up in Ultimate.

I wish the Gardetelle leak said Lilligant would be Gardevoir's echo instead. It's not one of my favorites, but it's more popular and marketed than Gothitelle, which would make me believe the leak more.

Yeah, I feel you on the blog posts, they aren't nearly as satisfying as Brawl's Smash Dojo or even the Miiverse Pics of the Day for Smash 4. It seems we only get the new updates about game modes after the prominent directs (had a small glimpse from the E3 Direct, and then a tidbit more after the August 8th Direct), and not much else. I'm only theorizing, but the site probably won't be updated with most of this info until after the game launches, if we even get it then.

On the one hand, it was nice to get "Everyone is here" confirmed outright at E3, which was hype-inducing beyone belief, but the Smash speculation that results after such a bombshell really has hit major dry periods as a result. Thankfully it happened so soon to the game's release, but if this were like Smash 4 and we'd have to wait nearly a year and a half after hearing everyone is returning, the wait would be truly agonizing.

If we're lucky, we might get our next major news drop soon. Preferably before the end of October.

I know you're joking, but have All-Star mode's final level take place in a swamp, and when you beat what seems to be the last character, Shrek comes out and says "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?!" and you have to fight him.

That said, a final boss surprise character, whoever it would be, all for All-Star mode would be cool.

- A Trophy Battle Mode of some sort (maybe working like a card game or Pokémon battle?)

These are the main ones that pop up in my mind personally, though new modes and returning favorites would be great imo.

I want to see a totally unexpected character reveal, regardless of who it would be. They could even be revealed with Incineroar if it meant another new Pokémon like Gardevoir. Something to breathe life into speculation would be wonderful imo.

Really, all I'm hoping for at this point is that Dixie can make it in, as I've been pulling for her ever since Diddy was confirmed in Brawl (she's always been my favorite Kong, ever since I played DKC2). 'Twas a shame when it was revealed she could have been revealed with him back then, and I even voted for her during the Smash 4 DLC Ballot, so I'd be happy if she made it in at all, as a unique character, a semi-clone, or an echo fighter, at base or as DLC.
