Actually, there was a thread in the Smash Subreddit with a similar idea based around Gruntilda's rhymes. Worth a look.

So I’m working on my in-depth character analysis and currently on Banjo. I have a few questions:

1) Would Mumbo Jumbo fit best as an Assist Trophy, Special move using transformation magic, a Final Smash, as two of three, or as all three?

2) Is it possible that MS may insist that Banjo use elements from his Xbox game such as building vehicles as a special move? Is this a likely scenario? Or could this potentially happen on Sakurai’s own violation.

3) Thoughts in BK codecs invoving Banjo and Kazooie chatting about opponent characters with fellow BK characters like Jingo, Mumbo, Bottles, and Gruntilda?

1) Transformations are something important in Banjo-Kazooie, I will add something to the moveset, as final Smash, so Mumbo will be there. For example, the T-rex working as Ganon. If sometimes it fails and transform Banjo into a washing-machine would be nice. It still works, but as a washing machine. For assist trophy I will put the Jinjos instead, working as guided missiles.

2) I think that adding something from Nuts & Bolts would be seen as something stupid even in Microsoft. Probably a vehicle for a final smash, but Banjo-Kazooie should be based in the N64 games, it's even easier than add some vehicle mechanic, from a game which very few liked. Bear and specially bird are how their moveset worked in the old games. Seriously, Kazooie was nothing in Nuts & Bolts.

3) It would be nice. Some chit-chat with Grunty yelling at everyone and all with cheesy jokes. It could be even better than adding Banjo-Kazooie to the roster.

AA Trilogy is getting released on PS4, Switch and Steam, we got an English trailer of it later. Only other thing is some anime footage of the Trials and Tribulations adaptation. Also why did anyone expect a Smash reveal at a non-Nintendo panel?

Okay, just general discussion. Nice.

Predictions:

Ken as an echo.
Geno is still happening
Incineroar now. Grass starter from Gen VIII as DLC/advertising for that game. Then you get water, Fire, and grass from 6/7/8.
Spirits will open up a submenu that will See the return of custom moves (so palutena and Mii fighters will retain their movesets) while also containing boss battles like Rathalos and Dracula.
Spirits will contain a boss rush mode.
Spirits will be 1-2 players
2+ years of dlc support

Hopes:
Smash Run will return as a DLC mode with new and larger stages as well as new enemies.

This DLC will also come with greater rules control/customization a stage builder which will let you make your own adventure mode style stages.

A new character every month for two years. This is hopes? Also a new echo, and increased echo variance like Chrom. Also a new assist. Also a new stage. Also new and returning game modes.

Custom move DLC will eventually be added for iconic moves characters don’t have, or moves that have been removed over time.

There will eventually be the means to separate pokemon trainer completely and squirte and ivysaur will receive their own down b moves.

There will be asymmetric multiplayer added to allow a player to play as a boss character against multiple opponents. This too will be added to the spirits submenu.

Oh boy, I have some thing I wanted to say on the minecraft discussion. i'm not asking people to like him.
- Minecraft is about the world, is represented better with a stage.
This argument against Steve is just dishonest or ignorant way of saying "I don't want Steve, but a stage is ok". Minecraft isn't about the world as much as it's about interacting (breaking, building, crafting, fighting) with it. A character would work much better to represent most of these interactions, with breaking being one of the few interaction a stage would do better without being extremely gimmicky.
- But he stole Banjo's slot.
If we get Steve, but no Banjo it likely mean:
1. Sakurai wasn't planning to add Banjo anyway
2. Microsoft didn't let him use Banjo.
It's unrealistic that he really took banjo's place more than any other character did.
- Steve isn't iconic the Creeper/game is.
This is also not right. While the Creeper itself might be more iconic, it's a lie saying Steve isn't Iconic as well. like other have pointed out, he gets more merchandise and is probably more recognizable than over half the roster in smash. And the Creeper while more iconic, has a much more awkward moveset potential that also wouldn't represent Minecraft as well as Steve's could.

I was fine with a Minecraft stage, I even kinda liked the idea. But Steve as a playable character?
No. Please just no.

And what's with some people getting on their high horse over this?
Acting "enlightened" and demeaning the people who would rather not have Steve in this game makes you look way more petty than the people that are overreacting.

Well said. The people who say we're being entitled or selfish saying we don't want Steve are the ones that come off in that position to me tbh

It's not about being on a high horse or "enlightened" or whatever, it's about not hating on other people's wants.
The Smash fanbase is toxic as **** towards Steve and people who want him, if people were as openly vitrolic against other characters they dislike as what steve gets this fanbase would be absolutely horrible.
And people would rightfully be able to call me selfish for saying that I don't want Geno to be playable, people in general don't realize how "selfish" their wants and want-nots might be.

I have a bad feeling it's gonna be Bayonetta rigged 2.0.

I'm not that good at wording my own thoughts so bear with me, but I just want to talk about something that's been bothering me for a while regarsing the reactions to the Minecraft character(Steve) rumours in Smash.
It just proves how much this ****ing fanbase moves goalposts, how it tries to act like every Smash inclusion has some higher justification and how it hates anything that's new and popular.
The first thing is "Minecraft doesn't have any history with Nintendo" which is ****ing bull**** because neither did Metal Gear or Final Fantasy VII(the site uses the FFVII logo so that's all Cloud represents, not FF as a whole). But if you mention this? People will try to find whatever justification for these even though none of these would defend their inclusion before they were revealed. Metal Gear has barely touched Nintendo consoles and the Solid series jad on GC game when Snake was included. Snake wasn't added for some complicated and "rich" history with Nintendo, it was because Kojima asked Sakurai to do it. And Cloud? It wasn't because "FF leaving Nintendo is part of its history". No, it's literally just because Cloud is the most recognizable and popular FF character, his ties to Nintendo be damned.
But then some people have the nerve of saying Minecraft getting a character makes no sense. One of the biggest games of all time, bigger then 90% of the current Smash roster, a game that has showed up on every recent Nintendo console that even has exclusive content.

So why do people try to downplay Minecraft so much? Because it's new and popular and isn't their favorite childhood game. If it's not the game they played when they were kids, it's not good and kids liking it are cringy and gross. Heads up, your experiences are not universal. More kids have experienced Minecraft than they ever will an old forgotten N64 game. Stop acting like they're wrong for liking this game just because you din't want whatever you grew uo with to be outstaged.
Putting Banjo at the same level, or even higher, than Steve's is ridiculous. Banjo had moderate success in the past and has fallen into irrelevancy these days. Nintendo would never ask for the IP to be in Smash unless they were going to straight up buy it back, because it benefits no one. You give money to your rival company and advertise a game that'll never be in your console(or doesn't even exist). Minecraft, however, is a game currently on Nintendo consoles, a game Microsoft is much more lenient with and much more worth the effort to go through the legal hoops.
