A few areas of the hair look like soggy bananas to me.
That might be due to the image quality though.

It makes more sense to you for every rumored character aside from Ken and Incineroar to be DLC?

I've said this several times before; the simplest explanation is that the box doesn't feature all the characters. I don't think people realize how hard it is to explain why leakers would know about possible DLC characters all the way back in May (first mention of Minecraft) and August (first mention of SE rep). Knowing about them this early implies that Sakurai is pretty far in development with them, despite the fact that the game hasn't even released yet and the last few months are typically spent fixing and tweaking things.

They could plan DLC beforehand without working on it. The Gematsu leak implied this even happened last time, with Lucas being saved for potential DLC and only one Earthbound character (Ness) making the base roster.

I'm legitimately shocked there is criticism of the ken leaked image. Real or not, the quality is there- unless you are taking a screencap from the actual device playing the game, the image could not turn out much better.

I want to see the render now, that is clearly not from a magazine so I say render or fake.
Or anything else, really, video footage or a character like Incineroar who couldn't be based off an existing character.

That looks like a ****ing dev unit or something. The Ken icon is even there, it's just faded due to the debug menu being over it.

Could we be getting more leaked? I mean if this person has access to this then it stands to reason he could get more?

His size is weird though, will admit. Pichu in particular being so big in comparison.

He looks extremely small in comparison to the other three characters. I mean, Pichu's head is as big as Ken's entire chest area.

As for Ken ( Potato_ )... good on Ken. He will make a lovely character. It makes me feel uncomfortable to think of Richter as the only Third Party Echo.
Still hoping for a Megaman Echo. Somehow. Someway.

I have to say, if Ken, Incineroar, and a Square Enix rep are the final characters, this is quite anticlimactic. Ken is just Ryu 2.0, Incineroar is a strange choice and not one I can relate with as I haven't played many of the modern Pokémon games... and the Square Enix rep could be big depending on what character they choose. I'm personally against Geno, he is an obscure and poorly designed, ugly character. Barely anyone would recognize him.

I just want to point out since a few at least haven't realized it but the reason Ken's render is transparent and barely visible is also due to Pac-Man's foot occupying that area. Might be due to the debug menu over it as well.

You CAN see Ken's render though, just barely.

The portrait is there, it's the debug menu being over top that's making it faded.

Yes, believing people can just "work to pay for DLC" despite people needing money for actual necessities and time to rest is completely sensible, I'm sorry.

And don't misconstructing my words, I never said DLC should just be free, all I'm saying is that players shouldn't be expected to pay extra to get the full game they already paid money for. You're telling players to just suck it ul and go to work to pay for DLC, stop defending gaming companies and their greedy decisions.

As one of those people that has to work for that stuff, if the DLC is worth it, I'll buy it. After all, if I can afford a $60 game, I can afford cheaper DLC at a later date. Beyond that, a game is complete without DLC, or it should be. DLC is meant to be an addition, like dessert for a meal, which it definitely is for games like Super Smash Bros. DLC also tends to have it's own budget seperate from the main game.

So, no, you're not paying more money to make the game full, you're paying money to add to an already complete game.

debug mode is kinda risky XD i don't think there are tons and tons of people whit access to that... (could be mistaken though) it would be strange to have a print on a magazine with debug so may not be from a magazine or promotional print :S

Thinking still might be fake, like someone else said, you can do some pretty amazing things with photoshop now.

It is different from the one posted in the Ken leak, so that's an inconsistency that we should take note of.
