There is going to be a new direct ... thats a given.

They need to talk about Spirits
They need to talk about bosses and character unlocks ( this probably is going to be related to spirits)
They need to talk about Trophies.
They need to talk about 10 more assist trophies aprox .

We know that this things are in the game withouth a doubt.

that being said, this things have a high chance of being in the game but haven't been talked yet:

-Stadium modes.
-Stage Builder.
-more alternate costumes and colors.
-Potentially 5 stages more.

There is a chance that also this stuff might be in the game...

-If spirits mode have enemy mooks akin to smash run, they may want to talk about that probably.
-DLC plans.
-Rage toggle.
-if break teh targets is in.. they probbaly will want to make a big deal about it
-Events battles
-The other blurred thing on the menu on theleft (if i take a guess, i say daily/weekly event matches, like with pokken, but fun)

Baiscally.. they still have plenty of stuff to talk about that isn't character related, enough to fill a direct...
Add at the very least one character reveal and one echo reveal, and a final notice that this are all teh fighters on the roster (with a final number) and yeah.. you got a full direct right there...

Edit: almost forgot, mii fighters specials and costumes and Video replays, maybe a snapshot mode too, similar to wiiu...

Well, if Square Enix rep, Minecraft's Steve, Incineroar are real, what numbering order would they have? I would think:

70. Steve
71. Geno (or different Squeenix rep but I believe in Geno)

Microsoft is rather known for favoring DLC and microtransactions. Steve can be the suprise DLC reveal at the end of the direct.
Steve feels more a DLC character than any of the two imo. Besides, Microsoft and Mojang can make profit.

Thanks to you both. To hit at my larger question, how might an Echo Ken Work? What is a feasible (primary) difference, outside of animations?

Probably the most obvious one (since Ryu gained it in one of SFII's many different incarnations) is Collarbone Breaker. I.E. Ryu's strong forward tilt in Smash, the one that eats shields like skittles. Pretty sure Ken never does that one, but I've not played every SF so I could be wrong.

Just because of my bias against Minecraft, I would prefer this as well. That way Im not forced to look at Steve in my completed roster and I can just skip him as DLC lol.

I honestly do not see the problems that some have pointed out in Ken's face or the lighting being off, etc. Looks real to me and if it's not, it's a great fake. As it has been said already, the person who made this if it is in fact fake did their homework. Team real.

The people saying it's fake due to nitpicking on their behalf reminds me of the Smash 3DS ESRB leak and how people nitpicked that as fake.
Example: "A pixel of Wario's eye on the CSS looks off, fake." *turns out real* "..oh"

It can be good for the economy to reflect on what a company has done,
it is ridiculous to chastise a company based on theories and possible leaks.
That is akin to screaming at your partner because of something they did in a dream.

You lump "all DLC practices" into one category, as if that generalization is effective in communication (or expresses your understanding of the situation), and my comment about complaining without information is, "stupid?" You are taking some extreme logical leaps here.
If you are going to resort to name-calling and telling me I'm not aware how human beings , I'm not sure how to find a middle ground in claims you think you are making. It seems more to reflect your lack of understanding of basic economy than my relationship to humanity.

I think a lot of services need to be free for the function of society. If you think extra gaming content is something to which you are entitled for free, I don't understand where from your background is, but it seems far less grounded in reality than mine, where I expect that to get something, I must give something.

And don't misconstructing my words, I never said DLC should just be free, all I'm saying is that players shouldn't be expected to pay extra to get the full game they already paid money for. I'm not saying the Ken "leak" is fake, all I can say is some parts, particularly the shadows, look drawn rather than being something from the game. I find this no more believable than all the other image leaks. Could just be the fact it's a crappy image--and why we get crappy images in an era of unfathomable technology is beyond me.

You can steal a character slot.
We know Bowser Jr was almost cut from Sm4sh, as the last added. Who did he beat out?
In Brawl we know Jigglypuff, Sonic, Wolf, and Toon Link were the final four added, taking place of the forbidden seven.

Jigglypuff/Toon Link/Wolf being late additions is a myth, they were always planned, but just designated as a group of non-essential low priority characters that were on a "if we can finish them in time" basis, and were thus kept out of the SSE as rewriting the story and remaking cutscenes to account for cut characters would have been unfeasible. The rest of the Forbidden Seven besides possibly Dixie can be assumed to be more low priority characters, as Sakurai said there were more planned and Brawl could have had more characters if the development went a bit differently.

Sonic is the only character who was added past the initial project plan in Brawl.

As for Ken ( Potato_ )... good on Ken. He will make a lovely character. It makes me feel uncomfortable to think of Richter as the only Third Party Echo.

The full game is what you buy at the counter. Any other service is an add on to that game. And it has its own price.
Provide even a single example of a paywall Nintendo has constructed, or one that backs up any of your claims for that matter.

That Ken leak looks pretty good. I think I'm gonna stay neutral on it, though. People are capable of making some pretty dang convincing Photoshops nowadays, so I'll just wait and see how this one turns out.

My only hope regarding Ken is that he's just an Echo, because if he gets in as a semi-clone, it may be the first character in this game I criticize a little bit. I mean, I'll be happy for those who wanted it, but it would definitely leave me with a sense of "I think time would have been better spent elsewhere..."

Hey, that's just me though. I'm sure there are people who would love him being a semi-clone, so if it happens, good for them.

Conceived from the beginning? Sure. First to have been cut if time did not allow it? Absolutely.
That is exactly to what was being discussed in the post you quoted- characters who make it in before others make it in.
Or ones that steal spots away, such as in this case, one character being higher priority than the other.

I think it's finally starting to sink in what would happen in the future of speculation if Incineroar really is the new Pokemon rep. Once again, EVERYONE will flood to the newest grass type and claim that it's the most likely Pokemon, denying that its type has anything to do with their opinion.

I'll try to restrain myself, but part of me wants to automatically hate the next grass starter just because I know it'll end up being the next big bandwagon Pokemon.
