You...Kinda failed to see my point. What I mean is tha-But notice X Super Mario is not the same as X Super Mario RPG
Yeah this exactly. When it's something taken from a certain game it specify what game it is. Just like Kid Icarus Uprising instead of Just Kid Icarus. Doesn't means it's a new series or whatever-It also explicitly states KIU instead of just Kid Icarus.
I think he's a big fat phony that waddles down stairs sideways...Nope, not yet... He claimed that they will likely be up by Friday...
Uhh... The ESRB guy?I think he's a big fat phony that waddles down stairs sideways...
Who would release non-disclosed video?
Assuming how big Pokemon is... I'm pretty sure it's justifiedCan I just point out that whoever the Gen 7 Pokemon is, Inceneroar or otherwise, we will have 10 Pokemon in Ultimate. ****ing 10. That's insane.
Yes, I'm including the 3 Pokemon in Pokemon Trainer because, yes, they count. Them missing Down B doesn't make them any less of a character.
And he got sued by Nintendo. Does this guy want the same to happen to him?Uhh... The ESRB guy?
Eh, I kinda understand that. If they didn't use FF, the alternative is... METEOR?That one actually has a basis in the DK games though, with the DK barrels or DK's necktie. I just find it odd that they made Cloud have a generic FF icon when everything, both in-game and out, only makes reference to Final Fantasy VII. Licensing's fun. Street Fighter's a little more excusable, sense the series doesn't really have a lot of things that work as an icon, but the punch button icon could've worked. Still not terrible though.
And then we have Snake, who's icon got changed likely because of copyright and not wanting to acknowledge Kojima or something
Yeah but he got sued didn't he? Who would do that again?Uhh... The ESRB guy?
I dunno, if he says on Friday, "my videos crumbled to dust but they had Gothitelle in them," I'd believe him.No other explanation really makes any sense IMO.
Yeah, just use the meteor from the Final Fantasy VII logo sense that's the only game you're taking stuff from. Except they probably weren't allowed to, so FF it is!Eh, I kinda understand that. If they didn't use FF, the alternative is... METEOR?
We don't need a video of Gothitelle being in; we already know she's in.I dunno, if he says on Friday, "my videos crumbled to dust but they had Gothitelle in them," I'd believe him.
They probably used FF because the Final Fantasy font is instantly recognizable and the VII Meteor would need to be resized a lot or cut off like the Monado icon. It also works if they end up adding more Final Fantasy characters in the future.That one actually has a basis in the DK games though, with the DK barrels or DK's necktie. It still kinda works since the Monado is the iconic weapon wielded by the first protagonist, kind of like how Fire Emblem's icon is Marth's Falchion...now if they still used Shulk's victory music..that'd be another story..If/when Xenoblade gets a second rep, I’d like them to change the icon to an X (or something else but I can’t think of anything) instead of the Monado. It would honestly annoy me so much if Rex/Pyra or Elma win and you see a giant Monado show up at the start of the victory animation.
Honestly, the only reason that were getting 9-10 Pokemon in the base roster is because of "EVERYONE IS HERE". 3 of the 7 cut veterans that were brought back are Pokemon.Can I just point out that whoever the Gen 7 Pokemon is, Inceneroar or otherwise, we will have 10 Pokemon in Ultimate. ****ing 10. And in the event they ever wanted to use another FF character, but not from 7, the Meteor logo wouldn't work. Chances are another FF rep would probably be Sephiroth though since he's the 2nd most recognizable; if not more recognizable than Cloud himself. Also he was voiced by a Backstreet Boy.They probably used FF because the Final Fantasy font is instantly recognizable and the VII Meteor would need to be resized a lot or cut off like the Monado icon. I wouldn't mind because canonically it sorta makes sense. Y'know, because big spoiler reasons for both Xenoblade 1 and 2.If/when Xenoblade gets a second rep, I’d like them to change the icon to an X (or something else but I can’t think of anything) instead of the Monado. Sephiroth is still from FFVII.And in the event they ever wanted to use another FF character, but not from 7, the Meteor logo wouldn't work. EDIT: Sorry, NSYNC. I mix the two of them up; was never into them when they were around and they were both popular boy bands, so they were interchangeable in my eyes lol.
I know right! Smash Ballet will be amazing xDThe only thing i NEED to know right now is...
Where do i buy the tickets for the smash ballet? I need to see that stuff...
Maybe, I could see Sakurai wanting to spread out representation more and include Terra or Noctis.And in the event they ever wanted to use another FF character, but not from 7, the Meteor logo wouldn't work. I know, that's why I said that chances are it would be him though; I kinda meant it as 'maybe the meteor logo wouldn't matter since the next likely rep would probably be Sephiroth anyway'.Please no.It's not like that's unheard of in Smash. The EarthBound victory theme is from Mother 1's title screen, and neither playable character is from that game. The Fire Emblem icon is meant to be the Falchion, and Solid Snake was never a member of FOX Unit.
Think about it this way, Elma wins and you see Lin's hairpin.
Sephiroth is still from FFVII.
Tim Daly is Sephiroth, Superman, and Nooj from FFX-2? Pretty good at playing both sides it seems. His Nooj portrayal sounded kinda bland though; almost like he was bored lol.Maybe, I could see Sakurai wanting to spread out representation more and include Terra or Noctis.
And Sephiroth's current voice actor since Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts II is Superman from the Superman and Justice League animated series.
Say it with me everyone;
That's why most leaks are fake how is he NOT in?
Or her for that matter.
You're right.Say it with me everyone;
"The absence of a character does not make a leak fake."
I get that it has precedent, but to be perfectly honest almost all of those bother me as well. Maybe I’m just strange.Please no.It's not like that's unheard of in Smash. I've said this before and I'll say it again:You're right.
However!
Then is the opposite true until proven otherwise?
Your observation isn't true until someone with tangible evidence beyond some form of assumption, proves it true.
No leak is proven true until officially announced by Nintendo. Even the very convincing ones.You're right.

Then is the opposite true until proven otherwise?
Nah, it makes sense. I'd just rather not have the Xenoblade icon changed because the only game I've played so farI get that it has precedent, but to be perfectly honest almost all of those bother me as well. Maybe I’m just strange.
Honestly, I think it's even more surreal that Metroid, the series that only has, like, two or three characters besides Samus who could legitimately work in Smash, got to four reps before Kirby, Star Fox, and DK - franchises that have plenty of options.Can I just point out that whoever the Gen 7 Pokemon is, Inceneroar or otherwise, we will have 10 Pokemon in Ultimate. ****ing 10. I'm not saying there are no Isaac supporters who act out of order, I'm sure there are somewhere, just that I've never had a bad experience with an Isaac supporter myself. Which is impressive yes, considering how long they've been around.
The majority definitely mastered the ways of the patient artsThey're in a weird spot where they're rooting for the return of a game series slightly more than the character itself.
Why does Elma look like a human version of Grumpy Cat?

Unless it's a character already in that game like that CSS leak that forgot ROBSay it with me everyone;
"The absence of a character does not make a leak fake."
Here's what I would do, totally being real here:I'm just really salty about Let's Go because there's so many things about those games that I want to enjoy that I know will be ruined for me by everything else. It's like FE: Revelations all over again, except that I actually caved and bought Revelations only to regret it not long afterwards. I love the idea of having an Eevee standing on my trainer's header or riding around on an Arcanine or Charizard, but I'm certain everything else about the game will just ruin my enjoyment of it. I love the Kanto region, so it really hurts me to skip out on this game, but I know it'll just hurt me even more if I do give in and buy it. I already made that mistake with FE Fates: Revelations. I'm glad Ultimate is coming out in less then a month after Let's Go releases so that I can have a distraction to help keep me from giving into temptation.
I hope I'm able to fall asleep soon.
That's what bugs me out.Honestly, I think it's even more surreal that Metroid, the series that only has, like, two or three characters besides Samus who could legitimately work in Smash, got to four reps before Kirby, Star Fox, and DK - franchises that have plenty of options.
