If you really want to get into it, the PS3/Vita have been selling most of these games for $5-10 for years as cross-buy. If someone has purchased any of them on sale (which they are often on) they could have compiled most of the PS1 classic's library for under a hundred dollars already, and been able to play it on a Vita portably if they choose.

I actually do have a small collection that I've improved everytime a game I liked went down to $5 lol. Chrono Trigger, FF Anthology (5 & 6), 7, 8, 9, 10, Tomba, FF Tactics, Wild Arms 2....I thinkt that's it. My collection is pretty much all RPGs since thats all I really played on PS1.

Same kinda goes for an actual NES/SNES collection though.

You can build up a Sega Genesis library for pretty cheap. Finding and buying most of the SNES or NES greats gets *way* more price-y and difficult to acquire.

Not that that excuses Nintendo vastly underestimating demand for their Classic consoles, but buying one at a markup on eBay is still far cheaper than finding all the games themselves.

I'd rather take solace in knowing that than buying the system that literally has a bunch of "what the **** is this" games for the sake of padding.

But yeah. I use my Vita essentially to play classic games on train rides. Worth it.

Wait, is the full game list out? All I remember hearing was FF VII, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. As much as I love FF VII, its almost as easy to find now as My Cousin Vinny and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. VII is on PS1, PS3, PS4, PC, and will soon be on Switch & Xbox1.

EDIT: So still only 5 out of the intended 20 are known. Chances are Crash & Spyro will make it in, but there's a ton of things that probably won't make it that should.

Also, Pakky , as much as Monster Rancher 2 would be awesome, these are digital, pre-loaded games; there'd be no way to put in a new disc for it to read and create a monster. the 'Open' button on the classic just brings you to the virtual menu to change games.

They just allow you to "load" a new disc by pressing the button.

Maybe that's too much work, sigh... I miss Monster Rancher...

As blasphemous as it sounds, I wish the Target & Walmart near me would run out of stock for the SNES Classic. I have to fight temptation every time I pass the damn thing. I want it, but I dont want to spend money on something I know I could just build via emulator with minimal knowledge!

I don't know why this idea popped in my head, but after it did, I loved it. I imagine Luigi would be super cowardly and afraid of confrontation, while Inkling would always rush in and drag him into it. Plus, I like the idea of him being frightened by them at first 'cause their eyes look like a Blooper's.

I've done it before so just: suprise me.

There was little to no logic making and , and or and teams, but it worked. I hope we'll get more character interactions like that.

= Pikachu is an alien species. It's lucky Samus didn't blow it up.

= Pokemon Trainer and Lucas are both kids? There is probably a deeper connection than that.

= If you want to take DK VIne's DK universe into account, Tricky the Triceratops is in both Diddy Kong Racing and Star Fox Adventures. Plus, you have the general RARE connections.

This is the bundle that was shown in the direct for November 2nd.

It doesn’t have the mural on it, so I think it’s safe to say that October isn’t the deadline and they’re planning to reveal at least 1 newcomer in November.

I find it ridiculous that it comes with no AC adapter. I was told that the SNES doesn't have one either, I could have sworn it did. It's ridiculous either way, but ESPECIALLY ridiculous for the PS1 Classic considering that thing is ****ing $100.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if it will have any sort of savestate support, or if it will only support emulating the memory cards for games that had memorycard support. I guess it could be fun for collectors if you could hack it to add more games.

I always assumed was because of the similarities to the baby Metroid, or the animals at the end of Super Metroid.
Samus tends to take pity on them.
Also, Pikachu was being tortured for his electricity. Samus saved him because of that.

I think was because of them both belonging to RPGs, and Red overall being more independent compared to Lucas. So it was the contrast of personality.
Or maybe it was because they were both from the GBA era.

I didn't grow up with a PS1, but I can understand the feeling if they ever made a Sega Saturn Mini.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that a lot of the creators of Pokemon actually worked on the Mother series first. That's why they have similarities in gameplay, and a lot of people think that's also why Mewtwo resembles Giygas.

...Or so I've heard. I've never actually played a Mother game.
